The nauseous feeling of teleportation made me black out until we materialized in a clean white space. Godess, how I hated that feeling! As I came back to my senses, I looked around, and what I saw made a chill run through my spine: we were in a horde's spacecraft. All kinds of bad feeling came back to mind. My hand automatically reached the back of my neck. « Sparkles, where are we? How far are we from the planet? Where is Adora? » She lightly rubbed my shoulder and looked at me like a mother talking to a kid « It's ok Catra, we're just using this empty spacecraft as a jumping point to go back to Etheria. You know I can't teleport that far. We're on the outer hemisphere of the planet. There's a teleporting door right around the corner. Adora's still in the next solar system helping the rebels. She's safe. » I jumped out. « The outer hemisphere? Shit Sparkles, we're too close! Come, quick! » I pulled her by her cape and ran. She followed me, stubbling in her cape. She finally lost her balance and fell hard on her bum. I was so panicked by the bomb, that I just shoved her, still sitting, through the door. As I started to pass, a flash of light blinded me and I felt a gush of wind pushing me through the door. I fell on the other side, my whole body squishing the queen on the floor of the war room. She pushed me away quickly and got up, looking mad and dusting her pants. « Ok Catra, you need to tell me what's going on, now,» she said with a directive tone. I looked around and blinked. The anguish I had felt in the last minutes suddenly turned to relief and tears came flooding through my eyes. I took her in my arms. « Thank you, thank you, thank you » I whispered. She looked uneasy. She patted my back and looked at me. « Catra, what happened? » A general entered the room in a hurry. « My Queen, all the signals for the Wumkays around the planet have gone blank. It seems something happened. The queen looked at me. « I can explain, » I said.

After a quick debrief, the Queen wanted to get more intel from the scouting units around Gikis' solar system. She went for the door, in the direction of the communication room, but I stopped her, putting my hand on her shoulder. She raised a brow. « Sparkles... Before your go.... Is there.. Is there any way I can reach Adora? » She smirked. « Of course Catra. She should be home soon. Entrapta has arranged a teleporting door for her in her laboratory. You can wait there. » She hesitated. « And Catra, I hope you know that I'm glad you didn't die back there. You did good, and I'm glad you're back. » She turned around and left.

I let out a puff of air and looked for a chair. I suddenly felt so tired. I let myself fall in swift wind's chair, in the middle of the war room, and took a moment. It seemed like I hadn't processed the day's feelings yet and I felt heavy. I was glad I was alive, gladder that I would've tought. I looked around, breathing deeply. The castle seemed surprisingly friendly. Even though my body yearned for Adora's presence all the time (especially now), I felt like it was more than just my love for Adora that made me feel homely here. For the first time of my life, I felt like I belonged. I let this good feeling flow through me for a moment. Then I took one last long breath and got up, walking swiftly to Entrapta's laboratory. I was eager to see Adora.

Entrapta's room was full of gear. Blinking diodes and screens diplaying formulas were piled up in what seemed to me like a big mess. Her fingers were clicking furiously on the keyboard until she saw me. « Catra!! » she screamed with her high pitched voice. « I'm glad you're here! You can help me to fix our audio connexion with the rebellion's spacecraft where Adora's waiting. Please connect those jacks to the main wiring system at the back of the room while I set up the coordinates in the computer.» Her poneytails then handded me a bouquet of colored cables and pointed me towards a large connexion box. I looked at the box, blinking, with no idea what to do. « Em, Entrapta, I'm not sure where to... » « Just connect the colored jacks to the same colored holes. » she said slowly, like talking to a child. I did as she said and we heard a crackling noise coming through. « Adora, can you hear me? » asked Entrapta. The silence made my stomach turn. « Adora? » I asked. It crackled again. « Entrapta! Entrapta, we need you. Can you help us with.. » The noise started again and then there was only silence. Entrapta mumbled to herslef but nothing happened. « Entrapta, what's going on, why can't we hear Adora? » I said, starting to panic again. « Ah, this solar system is so interesting, I wonder if the audio connexion is dysfunctional because of the nearby pulsar emmiting on the beta frequency. I can't seem to get any signal for them anymore.» She was clicking on her keyboard so I waited, hoping she would find the solution. Suddenly a red light started blinking on Emily's head and an alarm sound started. « E.. Entrapta, what's going on ?» I asked, feeling the adrenaline pumping through my veins. « Oh, that's the distress signal form Adora. Since we had a hard time connecting through radio frequency, I gave her a code so she could connect to Emily if there was something wrong. » I was definetly panicking now. « Entrapta, if Adora sent a distress signal, we need to do something! » She backed her rolling desk chair and took at me. « Let's see.. We could maybe join her with the portal door? But then we'd need to... » I took her hand and brought her to the door. « Come on, let's go ». We went through the door and landed on a spacecraft's command room.

Adora was sitting on the command chair while the blue woman was typing on one of the computers she brought back from the planet. Adora didn't see us coming in, her eyes were riveted to the window, where we could see thousands of Wumkay's spacecrafts heading towards us. I put my hand on Adora's shoulder and whisper « Adora, what's going on? » She turned to me and her eyes showed relief at my sight. « Catra! » she murmured. Her eyes went back to the window and the panic set back in them. She said with a low voice « We hacked the Wumkay's computer. Udena found a way to shut down their whole system but she couldn't get through the password. As we tried to find a workaround, they found the location of the rebellion's ships and sent an Armada to stop us. » She went silent for a second and breathed deeply. « Catra, I can't take them all by myself. » I squeezed her shoulder and kissed the top of her head, wondering what could be done. Entrapta went for the computer and the woman looked at her suspiciously. I intervened « Udena, please let Entrapta take a look, she's our only hope. » « Interesting! » said Entrapta with an excited look. She typed on the keyboard. « This seems like a much simpler system than Horde Prime's... » Suddenly, the room rumbled and we lost our balance. The ships had started shooting at us. Adora suddenly got up and transformed into She-Ra. « Adora, what are you doing, there's to many of them! »I said. She looked at me with a worried look and sqeezed my hands. « I have to buy some time, it's the only thing I can do » I felt my stomach turn. I wasn't going to let her take this armada alone.« Then let me help! » I answered. « But Catra, you can't fight with spaceships ». « I'll find a way! » I answered. I put on a spacesuit, took a laser ball shooter and went out with her.

She took me on her back and jumped away from the ship onto a small Wumkay spacecraft. She cut it open with her sword and looked around, analyzing the situation. I couldn't really think. It was my first time into space and I felt dizzy looking at all this emptiness around us. If I was to let go of Adora, I would just float around in this infinity. Adora swung her sword and a sparkly rainbow made a few machines explode. I shot some other ships on our left side. All in total silence. Some laser rays flashed around us and Adora transformed her sword into a shield for protection. She sent back some rays to the expeditors and the machines exploded. The ships regrouped and prepared for a large blast. Adora took a step back and prepared for the attack. We then heard Entrapta through our headphones « Guys, I'm getting through, I just need an other minute. » The laser rays started flying around us again. As Adora tried to move away, she lost her balance and a laser beam touched the tip of her foot. She cried out loud and I saw the pain through her face. Like always, when Adora's hurt, I could felt the pain through my own body. My stomach turned and I looked at the ships regrouping around us. I suddenly felt very, very, very angry. There was no way I was going to let them hurt Adora! I wanted them all gone. Space or not, I was ready to fight. A surge of heat and energy ran through my chest. I wanted to shred them into pieces. I jumped from Adora's back to the closest spaceship. I used my claws and ripped the laser gun out, throwing it on to an other ship, which exploded on the impact. I then jumped from ship to ship, ripping them appart as I went. I was just blind with rage and I was ready to destroy everything in my way. I was hitting, scratching and ripping metal. They were now focussed on me and I kept seeing laser rays flying around me. Entrapta's voice went through again. « Guys, get back here, It's gonna get dangerous. » Although I had heard her, I didn't seem to compute the message. I was mad at the ships, my day, mad at my life, my body yearned for destruction, so I continued. « Guys, get back now! ». Adora looked at me for a second and finallt jumped back to me, took me in her arm and brought me back to the ship. We rushed through the airlock and back to the command room.

I felt disorientated for a moment, and a bit dizzy. Entrapta pressed a button with a satisfied look. At this exact moment, the shooting stopped. All the Wumkay's ships went black. We looked at each other in silence. And then, still in silence, they started to explode, one after the other. « Haha! » shouted Entrapta. « I knew it would work !» The blue lady was looking at the scene with her jaw open. She reached to a walkie-talkie in her pocket and called her rebellion squads. Every group told her the same thing: the ships were exploding in every galaxy. Through the window, there was nothing left to see but smoke. She looked at Entrapta, stunned. « How... how did you do that? » she asked. « Well... I developed a code that makes my virus jump from computer to computer in a network. It gains data every time, making it stronger. I put it inside the closest ship and let it do the work. Haha! » I took Adora in my arms and hugged her strongly. She brought me closer and buried her head in my neck. We stayed like this for a while. The rage had left me. I felt grateful that it was over.
