Chapter 27 : Unfortunate Walk

"Hey Endie. Let's go out now. It's six." "Wha- I don't want to!" 

Dendie sit up. Dendie look straight into Endie's eyes. He don't understand why does Endie don't want to go out. 

"Why? Is it because of the rain? It stop already." "No. No. It's not the rain." "Then? What's wrong with going out?" 

Endie look down to the floor. He feel terrible for not letting Dendie to go out just because he don't want to. He's afraid that he bump into his friends. 

"It's nothing. If you want, you can go out by yourself." "What? No I won't do that." "Wha- why?" "Because I'm not a selfish person. I won't go anywhere else other than by your side." 

'Is he being for real? I don't want to lock him in here with me.' 

Endie sigh. Endie look back at Dendie. Endie know Dendie want to go out real badly but chose not to because of him. 

"Alright. Let's go out." 

Dendie immediately stand up. Endie almost got a heart attack because of that. 

"For real!?" "F-for real." "Are you okay? Did I scared you or something?" "A little." "Oh. Sorry." "It's fine. Don't worry." "Let's go then." 

Dendie grab Endie's hand and teleport outside. Endie didn't expect Dendie would suddenly grab his hand and then teleport without even telling him about it. 

"Please tell me next time before you teleport." "Oh right. Sorry. I kinda forgot you won't teleport unless you're alone." 

Dendie chuckle nervously while Endie shook his head. 

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" 

Dendie hold Endie's hand and start walking. Endie don't really mind it since it's Dendie first time walking in The Overworld. Endie don't want Dendie to get lost so he just let Dendie hold his hand. 

"I hope people don't think that we're a couple or something." "Don't say it again. It'll make me sick." "Oh yeah. Sorry." 

Endie shook his head again. Dendie has so much to learn about him. 

"It's fine. Don't worry. You didn't know." "Well, at least now I know." "Right." 

They keep walking hand-in-hand. Other people who walk by them give them a weird look on their face. Endie notice it but Dendie don't. 

"Is everything alright? You look kinda nervous to be honest." 

Endie look at Dendie who were at his right side at the moment. Endie give Dendie a nervous smile. 

"It's nothing. Don't worry about it." "Okay then. If you say so." 

They keep on walking and walking and walking. They themselves don't even know what they actually want to do. 

"So uh..." "Do you have something in mind, Dendie?" "I actually don't. What can we do out here other than just walking?" 

Endie look down. He's thinking hard just to find what they can do that moment. 

"I find nothing. Do you uh... want to go somewhere?" "I'm not sure about it. I'm new here so I'm not sure." "Oh yeah. I forgot." 

With nothing in mind, they just keep on walking. And of course, hand-in-hand. 

A Couple Minutes Later

Dendie start to notice. The look people gave him and Endie everytime they walk by. The look of disgust. Did they really think that him and Endie is a couple? If yes then, do they not support it? 

"Hey Endie?" "Yes?" "Is people in The Overworld do not support gay?" 

Endie quickly look at Dendie and stop walking. He didn't expect Dendie to ask that question. 

"Why would you ask that?" "Well, for a while now, I notice the look people gave to us. The look of disgust. Do they... does not support gay?" 

Endie look down to the ground. He do need to tell Dendie about it sooner or later. 

"Well, some people does and some people don't. I guess some of them does not only doesn't support gay but also lesbian, bisexual, pansexual and others. I know it's cruel but that's their choice. We can't force them to like what we like." 

Dendie look at Endie with full of his attention. He really want to learn about it. 

"I guess that's true." "But hey. There's still good people out there. You just got to find them." 

(Endie suddenly become a very good advice giver) 

Dendie nod. Dendie know there's still good people out there. He will find them. Sooner or later. 

"Right. I'm sure there's still good people out there. I believe you." 

Endie smile. He's glad Dendie believe in him. 

"There's the Dendie I know. Now, how about we continue our walk?" "That's sound like a plan." 

And so, they keep walking. They don't care about the look people gave them anymore. All they need is each other. While they were walking, a boy suddenly approach them. He look like ten year old. 

"Hello mister. My name is Zayn. I'm 9. I want to know if you two are a couple." 

Endie almost vomit when he heard that. Luckily, he manage to hold it in. And lucky for Endie again, Dendie ask Zayn about it. 

"Why would you ask that Zayn?" "I just want to know. I'm curious." 

All of the sudden, Zayn's mom came to them. 

Zayn's mom: I'm so sorry for my son behavior. 

Dendie: It's okay ma'am. We don't mind it. We understand. It's normal for a child to be this curious.

Zayn's mom: Thank you. 

Zayn: You still didn't answer my question. 

Zayn's mom kneel infront of Zayn. Zayn's mom put her hand on Zayn's shoulder. 

Zayn's mom: Zayn sweetie, not all people who hold hands are a couple. 

Zayn: Really? 

Zayn's mom: Yes sweetie. They might be sibling or friend or family like a father with daughter. Promise me you'll remember that okay? 

Zayn: Okay. 

Zayn run to the park near them. Zayn's mom stand up. She look at Dendie and Endie with a smile. 

Aaliyah: My name is Aaliyah. It's nice meeting you two. 

Dendie: It's nice meeting you too Aaliyah. 

Aaliyah then walk away to go to her son. Dendie look over to Endie who look like he's about to faint. Dendie hold Endie's back and right arm. He's afraid that Endie might fall anytime soon. 

"Endie? You alright?" "Maybe..." "Do you want to go home?" "If you would." "Alright then." 

Just as Dendie was about to teleport, a voice shout at them. A bunch of them. 

"Enderman!?" 

Endie look over to where he heard the voice. His eyes widen. 

"You guys!?"
