Chapter 20 : What A Weird Day

Thursday  

Endie open his eyes and he saw Ceris just looking at him with a stern face.

"Yes Your Highness? Do you need something?" "Can I know the reason why you're in Vordus bed with him and a Void Worm hugging you?"

Endie froze for a second. Then, he look to his right and he saw Voidy. He look to his left and there he is, Vordus. Both of them are hugging him tight. It seem like Endie can't go anywhere because of them.

"I'm not sure Your Highness. All I can remember is My King put me on his bed then I black out." "Huh? Is that so?" "Yes?" "Alright then. Tell Vordus to meet me later in the throne room. And please, I'm being generous. Get your Void Worm back to his own island." "Yes Your Highness. Thank you for your generosity." "No problem I guess."

Ceris then walk out of the room. Thank The End she being generous today.

"My King? Voidy? Can you two move a little? I can't breath." "Huh? Oh! I'm so sorry my little Enderman."

Vordus then move away a little. Finally,  he can breath a little.

"Thank you My King. Oh and also, Your Highness want you to meet her in the throne room." "Did she-" "She is being generous today so she let him go." "Oh thank The End. Alright. I'll go see what does she want this time." "Yes My King."

Vordus get up from his bed and grab his staff. He then walk to the door. He open the door and walk out but, before he close the door, he look back at Endie.

"Be careful my little Enderman. I love you." "I... I love you too grandpa."

Vordus smile and close the door. Endie look back at Voidy who still asleep.

'Alright. How in The End name can I wake him up?'

Endie was brainstorming. He can't think of anything. He doesn't know how to wake a Void Worm up. Then, he just decided to use The Ender Wake.

'Here goes nothing I guess.'

Endie pick Voidy up and start teleporting everywhere in the room. After a couple of minutes, Endie stop. He look at Voidy who is in his hand starting to wake up.

"Wakey wakey Voidy. It's time to go home." "I don't want to..." "You have to." "Ugh fine!" "Thank you~"

Endie let Voidy go. Endie open the window and gestures Voidy to go. Voidy fly towards the window and out he go. Voidy look back and wave at Endie with his tail. (His legs are too small.)

"Bye Voidy! See you soon!"

And off he go. Voidy fly back to his own island. Endie is glad Voidy is going to be okay.

"Endie. Did Voidy go back to his island?" "Yes he did. What did Your Highness want?" "Eh. She just talk about your mission. She said you can take all the time you want as long you end up catching them." "Good to know I guess." "Do you want to go back now?" "I don't know. I mean, it just been so long since I last stay here." "Stay for another day then." "Okay I guess."

Vordus invited Endie to have dinner with him, Ceris and Commander Echo but Endie refused. He say he didn't want to bother them. He want to go on  walk. Vordus let Endie go. Vordus know Endie can protect himself. Vordus walk with Endie to the front door.

"Stay safe my little Enderman." "I will My King"

Vordus wave at Endie as he walk away from the palace. Vordus smile looking at his grandson. Vordus still remember what Endie used to look like when he was just a little baby. Vordus also remember Endie's first word.

Flashback

"Come on my little Enderman. You can do it."

Vordus gestures to Endie to walk to him. Endie still trying to stand up. When he did it, he slowly walk to Vordus. Endie manage to walk. Then, he run to Vordus. Vordus was overjoyed. Vordus pick Endie up and spin him around.

"I'm so proud of you my little Enderman!"

Endie giggles. He is happy but not as happy as his grandpa. Then, he spoke.

"G... gra... grandpa!"

Vordus was shocked. He almost drop Endie when he heard Endie spoke. His heart also almost stopped.

"W-what? S-say it again." "Grandpa!" "You did it! You speak! I'm so proud!"

Vordus spend his whole day playing with Endie. He is so proud of his grandson. He never been this happy.

End Of Flashback

"Vordus come on. Are you going to stand there all day?" "Oh. I'm so sorry My Queen. Let's go have dinner shall we?"

Vordus give his hand to Ceris for her to hold. Ceris hold Vordus hand without any hesitation. They walk to the dining room together. And of course, Commander Echo already there. They sat down and eat their dinner.

Meanwhile With Endie

"How in the world did you get stuck?" "I don't know! Just help me!" "Just... Let me recall everything for a sec. You were patrolling the city when you saw an Endermite. You tried to catch it and end up getting stuck between this two building. Am I right?" "Yes yes! Please help me!" "(Sigh) Alright."

Endie help The Ender Knight just because The Ender Knight keeps yelling at Endie to get him out. After a couple of tries, Endie manage to unstuck The Ender Knight. The Ender Knight thanks Endie and go back to patrolling.

'What a weird day.'
