Chapter 31 : Meeting Between Knights

6:30 P.M 

With Dendie 

Dendie open up his eyes. He look at his surrounding. All he see is pure darkness. He also just notice that his horns, wings and tail are visible. When he look infront of him again, there he was. It's another version of himself. It's not E.K Endie. It's D.K Dendie. Everything looks the same except for his pupil. His pupil just like E.K, catlike pupil. 

Dendie: Who are you? 

D.K Dendie: I'm D.K Dendie. You can call me D.K if you want to. 

Dendie: And why are you here? 

D.K: To warn you about who you call 'New Endie'. 

Dendie look away. He really hate him. With his whole heart. It's pure hatred. 

Dendie: What about him? 

D.K: As you said before, he's not Endie. And you're right. He's E.K Endie. Another version of Endie. You can say that he's a jerk. A big jerk. He also thinks that he's way more powerful than anyone else in the whole universe. Classic. 

Dendie look back at him. D.K doesn't seem like a bad person. He's more to a nice person. He warn him about E.K who D.K called and I quote, a jerk. 

Dendie: Are you trying to help me or something? 

D.K: Of course I am. Why? You think all opposite of a person is bad? 

Dendie: Probably? 

D.K sigh. He should've known. Dendie is a demon after all. 

D.K: Listen. All I want is for you to say as far as you could from E.K if you ever see him. It's not easy but it's not hard either. You can tell it's him by just looking at his pupil. It's like mine. Catlike pupil. 

Dendie: Sure I guess. 

D.K: And also, if he's near you, let me take care of him. I know you don't want to hit Endie since he's your friend. 

Dendie look away again. He actually have a little trust issue with others. So, it's very clear that Dendie don't want to trust him. 

Dendie: How can I trust you? You look like me but you're very similar to E.K if I got to be honest with you. 

D.K: Thank you for your honesty. And, I don't mind if you don't trust me. I'll give you some time. But, trust me on this. E.K will come again. He'll make you cry. Endie don't like that, right? So, please let me handle E.K for you. 

Dendie don't want to trust him. But, he also don't want himself to get hurt again. So, the only option here is, trust D.K to take care of E.K for him. 

Dendie: Alright. I'll trust you. But, if you do anything fishy, I'll kill you. 

D.K: Whatever makes you happy. Bye. 

Dendie black out. When he open his eyes again, he's in Endie's room. On his bed. Endie's bed. 

'Did Endie put me here?' 

Dendie stand up from Endie's bed. He also notice that his horn, wings and tail are invisible again. He shrug it off. He then teleport to the living room since that's where he think Endie would go. 

The Living Room 

When he arrive, he saw Endie lying on the couch. He approach Endie with full caution. When he reach Endie, he can see that Endie's eyes are closed. 

"Um... Endie?" 

Endie's eyes open up. Dendie's eyes widen. It's E.K Endie. He's back. D.K was right. He came back. 

"Why hello there. How are you my dear demon friend?" 

E.K sit up. He look at Dendie with a twisted smile on his face. Dendie really want to wipe that smile off his face. 

"You're not the Endie that I've known and loved. You're E.K, aren't you?" 

E.K laugh. He stand up while clapping his hands. He look back at Dendie while still clapping his hands. Dendie look so confused. What's so amusing for him, he wondered. Dendie does not know. 

E.K: Seems like my cover has been blown. I didn't think you would be this smart. Or, someone tells you about me. 

Dendie: The second one. He actually want to see you. 

Without wasting anymore time, Dendie close his eyes. When he open it again, his pupil are catlike pupil. It's now D.K who's in control. 

D.K: So, you're E.K huh? Doesn't really surprise me. 

E.K: You're D.K right? I've heard a lot about you. You're a kind one. And you tell Dendie about me. 

D.K: I won't let you hurt anyone else in this world especially Dendie and Endie.  

E.K: Come on. Who is Endie to you? He don't know you. 

D.K: He may not know me but I know him. I'll protect him. Dendie will protect him too. 

E.K: Oh pish posh. Stop all this talking about protecting Endie. He's not important. He's useless. 

D.K; You're useless. 

E.K: Was that your best roast? It didn't work on me. 

D.K: No. It's not my best one. You will know later. Now, I want you to let Endie go. 

E.K: You won't understand. I'm trying to protect him too. Just in my way. Not yours. Not others. 

D.K look surprise. He thought E.K don't care for Endie whatsoever. 

D.K: Protect him from what? 

E.K: More to who. And I can't tell you. 

D.K: What? Why can't you tell me? Is it because you think I'm weak? 

E.K: No. I just cant. This is my mission and mine only. I really can't tell to anyone else about this. Sorry. 

E.K close his eyes. He open his eyes again. Now, it's round like shape pupil. It's Endie. 

"What?"

Endie hold his head and shake it. He look so confused. 

"What happened?" 

Before Endie notice that the one that is infront of him is not Dendie, D.K close his eyes. When he open it again, his pupil now is round like shape pupil. Dendie is back. 

Dendie: Endie? You okay? 

Endie: Dendie? What happened? I just close my eyes for a second and everything went black. 

Dendie: You probably accidentally fall asleep. Don't worry about it too much. Let's head back to your room, alright? You need some actual rest. 

Endie: Sure I guess. 

Dendie teleport next to Endie. He hold Endie's hand and teleport back to Endie's room. 

Endie's Bedroom 

Dendie successfully teleport inside Endie's room. Luckily for him, he got just enough energy to teleport straight inside Endie's room. 

Dendie: Luckily for me, I got enough energy to teleport straight in. 

Endie: Lucky you I guess. Let's go back to bed. I'm tired. 

Dendie: Sure thing. 

Dendie lead Endie to his bed. Dendie let Endie sit down first. Then, Endie lie down. Endie scoot away a little bit for Dendie to lie down next to him. Dendie lie down next to him. He turn his body to face Endie's. He can see that Endie has fallen asleep. Dendie smile. Endie look so peaceful. 

"Goodnight Endie. Sweet dream." 

Dendie fall asleep. And without him noticing it, he hug Endie. Endie's head is under Dendie's chin. And both of them are having a pretty good dream. You'll know it when both of them are smiling. Sweet dream.
