It's very, very busy.

The parking lot, is completely filled with cars and everywhere I turn there are students, teachers, families, kids, splashes of white, blue and red, food trucks, game booths, concession stands everywhere.

As I'm walking across the parking lot, starting the journey to the football stadium, something odd happens.

I notice a flash of white in my peripheral vision coming straight towards me at an alarming speed. There's a loud honk and a terrifying screeching of tires that completely catches me off guard. It all happens so fast that the only thing I can manage to do is take quick stumbling steps backward, resulting in me falling brutally on my back and praying that whatever car is about to hit me doesn't leave me dead.

I'm not on the floor for longer than five seconds before the door to the sleek black model opens and a tall guy steps out, advancing his way towards me before coming to a stand directly above me.

I glance up quickly, honestly ready to unleash my frustration on the reckless driver but when I look up, I start to falter because standing over might have been one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen in my entire life.

His buzzed hair perfectly accentuates the strong bold features on his face. He's got these stunning green eyes and full perfect eyebrows that rest above them. His face is so flawless that, the only way I can describe it is as if it's been crafted together by marble and brought to life.

Right now he's staring at me with a look of deep concern although the way he keeps glancing to the side to were bystanders are now paying attention to us has me thinking he's more worried about how this effects him.

"Are you okay?" He says in a deep smooth voice, that matches his boyish looks. He hold's a hand out and I eye it skeptically before accepting it, allowing him to pull me up to my feet. It's through this motion that I can feel the pain that shoots through my knees. He must notice how i'm wincing because he glances down at my legs and furrows his eyebrows.

"Your knees. They're bleeding."

I grit my teeth, ignoring the pain that flares against my skin. "It's honestly fine." I say. "It was an accident and I shouldn't have been walking so close to the road."

I watch the mysterious man nod, glancing back over to his shoulder to his car, like he's ready to head back. But he seem's to have some sort of internal conflict in his head and seems to come to a steady conclusion when he sigh's and says. "You're heading to the stadium right? It's still far from here, let me drive you."

My eyebrows shoot up to my forehead as I observe the seriousness in his green eyes and the hard set of his jaw.

"No." I immediately say. "Really you don't have to."

His lips pull into a frown and his eyes become impatient as if I am suddenly becoming burden to him. The whole situation was so ironic. "I can't let you walk now. Just get in the car please."

I frown at the blatant authority in his tone and how he clearly just expected me to conform to his wishes but realised not only was he clearly going to persist but that a car ride was indeed better than walking.

So I give him a stiff thank-you before approaching the car, pulling open the door to the backseat.

I freeze at what I see.
