Chapter 57

Clementine's

"T-That voice, w-who i-is that?" I gasped. It's very familiar.

When I heard that voice, even if it's through phone I know that it is hers. No matter how many years have passed by I can't still forget her voice... her sweet enticing voice.

"Yvette." Beau's replied with a shaky voice. "Clementine, she's alive, she's here. l-I found her."

And by that my breath hitched, my legs start to shake as I dropped my phone to the ground and tears start to build in my eyes.

She's alive.

Oh my god! She's alive!

I knew it.

"Clementine, you still there?" Mabilis kung kinuha ulit ang aking cellphone at napaupo sa sahig.

Para akong nawalan ng lakas dahil sa sobrang kasiyahan.

"P-Please, don't you dare leave your sight on her." I pleaded. "Beau, I'm coming over right now."

"I won't, I promise." She promised.

Pagkasabi niya nun ay agad akong tumayo at nagmamadaling kinuha ang aking bag. I know where's Beau right now because I'm the one who assigned her there which I'm fucking grateful for because she have found Gwen's there.

I know it is God's way to bring Gwen back into our lives. I'm not a religious person but God, thank you fucking so much. I'm sorry for cursing, I'm just so happy that I can't help it.

"Call Anton and ready the chopper, we're going to Samar ASAP." Agad na utos ko sa tauhan na nasa labas ng opisina ko dito sa bahay.

Pababa ako ng hagdan ng maabutan ko si Saphire na may dalang baso ng gatas.

"Tita Een, are you okay? Were you crying?" Mabilis itong lumapit sa akin at nag-aalalang tinanong ako.

I smiled gracefully at her and couldn't help myself but to shed tears again. This is a happy tears because finally we found her sister already.

"I-I'm more than okay, sweetheart." I replied as I wiped my tears away.

Naguguluhan naman itong nakatingin sa akin. "Why are you crying?"

"I'm just so happy."

She tilted her head to other side and furrowed her eyebrows which I find it cute. "I'm glad you're happy, Tita Een." And then she smiled genuinely.

Well, ever since when Gwen went missing I seems to forgot how to be genuinely happy, it feels like Gwen took my happiness away with her. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy whenever I'm with the twins, they were the reason why I'm still staying strong because I don't want Gwen to be worried for them when she come back. It's just that I know that those happiness is not that geniune.

I know the twins were slowly losing hope that their sister is still alive. I couldn't blame them for they were still a child. Mabilis silang mapaniwala sa mga sabi-sabi at balita. Lalo na si Cassia na mailap pa rin makausap hanggang ngayon simula nung mawala ang Ate nito. Mabuti nga at nakikipag-usap pa ito sa amin kahit papaano. Mas naging protective din siya sa amin, lalo na kay Saphire. Kahit sa murang edad niya ay hiniling na niya sa akin kung paano protektahan ang sarili kaya naman ay nag hired ako ng magtuturo sa kanya. I even let her hold a gun, it's for her protection and in my defense she asks for it.

I just hope Gwen won't kill me when she found out about it. Hindi ko lang talaga mahindian si Cassia ng nagmamakaawa ito sa akin noon dahil alam kung ito lang ang paraan para kahit papaano ay maibsan ang sakit na nararamdaman nito nung mawala ang Ate niya.

"You're Majesty, the chopper is ready." Nabalik ako sa reyalidad ng biglang nagsalita si Anton sa likuran ko.

Napatango naman ako. "Mauna ka na."

"Yes, You're Majesty." Agad na sagot nito at nauna ng lumabas ng mansyon.

"You're going somewhere?" Sadness and worry is evident in Saphire's voice. Hindi siya sanay na lumalabas ako ng gabi dahil hanggang ngayon ay may trauma pa rin ito simula nung mangyari ang insidente last three years ago.

I smiled. "I'll be back tomorrow." I replied, not telling her that her sister is alive. I want to surprise her and Cassia.

And by that the anticipation is killing me already. I can't wait to see them reunite again.

"Promise me you'll take care, Tita Een."

I kissed her forehead before hugging her. "I promise." I said as I pulled away from the hug. "For now, I want you to sleep in your twins room, okay?"

She nodded. "I love you, Tita Een."

"I love you more, sweetheart." Sagot ko naman at naisipan na ihatid muna ito sa kwarto ni Cassia.

Marahan akong kumatok sa kwarto ni Cassia at ilang sandali pa ay bumukas ito at bumungad sa amin ang bagong ligo na si Cassia at nagtatakang nakatingin sa amin ni Saphire.

"Yes, Tita Een?" She asked.

"Can Saphire share a bed with you tonight? I have somewhere important to go to." Wika ko dito at ngumiti.

"Of course, come in, Saph." Ngiti naman nito sa kapatid niya.

Kaagad naman pumasok si Saphire at hinalikan ang pisngi ng kapatid nito. I love how they love and protect each other.

"Please, take care of yourself, Tita Een, I don't want to lose you, too." Mahihimigan naman ang pag-aalala sa boses nito.

Hinalikan ko naman ang noo nito bago ito niyakap. "I will, I promise." Sagot ko at kumalas na sa pagkakayakap sa kanya. "Look after your sister and yourself okay?" Saad ko dito.

"Yes boss!" Masiglang wika naman nito sa akin.

Napangiti nalang ako at nagpaalam na sa dalawa. Sinabihan ko naman sila na isirado ang kwarto nila at i-lock ito. Bubuksan lang kapag ako na ang kumatok at si Yeen o di kaya sila Shantelle at Saryia. Hindi naman sa wala akong tiwala sa mga tauhan ko at mga maids sa bahay, nakaka-trauma lang ang nangyari dati.

Kaagad ko naman tinawagan si Yeen habang pababa ako ng hagdan.

"Hello." Bungad agad ni Yeen sa akin.

"I'm leaving right now, can you come here and look after the twins?"

"Okay. Where are you going anyway?" She asked. "And why do you sound so happy?" Dagdag nito.

I smiled. Kahit na hindi niya ito nakikita. "It's a surprise for now."

"Fine, fine. I'll just wait for Shantelle to take a bath and we'll go there together."

"Alright. Bye. I love you." I bid.

"Take care, I love you more." She bid. "Don't you dare go on dates! I only want Yve's for you!" She added before hanging up the phone.

Napapailing naman ako habang inilalagay sa bag ang aking cellphone. Napaka-loyal talaga nito kay Gwen, it's not like I'm planning on letting go of Gwen because that's not gonna happen.

Me, Yeen, My friends and Gwen's friends know that she is still alive, we all know and we feel that she is alive. We didn't lose our hope that is why kanya-kanya kami ng paghahanap kay Gwen despite our busy schedule. Medyo nahirapan at natagalan lang talaga kami dahil ayaw naman namin na ilabas sa balita ang pagkawala ni Gwen at magbigay ng ransom sa makakakita sa kanya dahil baka manganib pa ang buhay nito.

Lalo na't hanggang ngayon madami pa rin ang may galit sa akin at si Gwen ang paghigantihan, ayaw kung may madamay na naman sa mga mahal ko sa buhay.

And finally... Beau's found her.

I can't wait to finally hug her and tell her what I really feel for her. Ayaw ko pa magsayang ng panahon, I want her to be mine.
