"I'm Keaton's mother." Snapped the woman at the front door.

"Keaton?" I yelled.

I heard him basically sprint down the stairs behind me then stopping when his eyes landed on the woman in the doorway. She looked enough like Keaton to be his mother, but something was telling me not to believe her. Her face was sweet, and her voice was gentle, even when she snapped at me.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" Keaton smiled, as he walked over and wrapped his arms around his mother's shoulders.

"We heard you got away from Zazu in Rio. We found Nate online and he said yes, that you were staying with him. And on the verge of being a father. Were's the lucky lady?" His mother chirped.

I saw her car parked out in front of my house. Something about this woman wasn't settling good with me. The menchin of Reese made my eyes tear up. I turned on my heal and walked into the kitchen so she couldn't see me crying.

"Hold on mom." Keaton said as he walked into the kitchen to check on me.

He placed his hands on my hips and turned me around so I was facing him. I was thankful to have Keaton around during this hard time. His arms snaked around my waist, linking behind my back and holding me against him. He kissed the top of my head and sighed.

"Sorry, I didn't mean t-" I started.

"Aubrey don't apologize. It's going to take time for us to get used to it." He whispered.

The tears seemed to never stop whenever I was crying over Reese. Keaton kissed the side of my neck, trying to calm me down but failing. I just wanted to go to sleep, to curl up with Keaton and go to sleep forever.

"Now go upstairs, take a shower and get relaxed. When you think you're ready, you can come back downstairs and have breakfast with us. I'll cut you up some strawberries." He assured me.

Keaton was a wonder. I really didn't know how I got so happy with him. He was sweet, angry, kind, gentle, furious, violent. He was perfect for me though, when I needed him he was there, and even when I pushed him away he always came back.

He was perfect.

The hot water felt great on my skin as I bathed under the shower head that was pouring water onto my naked body. I let the tears wash away, and calmed down a lot before pulling on jean short shorts and a blue tank top.

I walked back down the steps where Keaton was sitting with his mom at the table. I noticed the spot acrost the table from Keaton where there was a bowl of freshly cut strawberries. I smiled as I walked into the room. Keaton noticed me walk in and stood up, walking over to me.

He set his hands on my hips then hugged me tightly to make sure that I was okay before continuing this awkward conversation with his mother. Meeting his mother alone was nerve wrecking. He pecked me on the lips then turned to his mother who seemed quite smitten with us.

"Mom, this is Aubrey, my fiancee." He announced.

His mothers face lit up like a flashlight in the middle of the woods. I was hoping that she wouldn't freak out, and she seemed completely happy about it. She walked over and hugged me. I looked over to Keaton who was laughing a little at my hesitance. I hugged her back, makeing her squeeze me even harder.

It's easy to say that I was caught off guard by her hugging me.

The conversation never seemed to end as Keaton took control and explained to her what happened with Reese. I held back the tears as much as possible, letting a few escape. His mother, Nora seeemed to feel horrible for me, but I didn't want her to. She even cried, which made me feel a little bit better about myself.

"So when's the wedding?" She asked, changing the subject.

"This summer I think. My sister Ramona is planning it." I said unsure of what was even going on with the wedding. I told Ramona she could plan it, since she let River plan theirs.

"Well your father, and the girls are all here." Nora replied.

"Girls?" I asked.

"My pack of young sister wolfs." He chuckled.

"How many?" I asked.

"Four. I'm the oldest. Hannah is 14, Carly is 10, Madison is 8, and Payton is 5." Keaton explained.

"He didn't tell you about us?" His mother asked.

"Well-he doesn't like to talk about his past. I guess we never got around to it." I frowned.

She made a really good point, I knew nothing about Keaton. We didn't know anything about eachother barely at all. Keaton basically refused to talk about his past any time I asked about it.

Nora went back to the hotel with her husband and daughters who all came by to see Keaton. We planned to all go out to dinner, and she went on her way. But what she said really stuck in my head.

"Everything okay?" Keaton asked concerned as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"We barely know eachother." I frowned.

"Aubrey, we don't need to." He said.

"Yes, we do. If we're going to get married we do need to. We know nothing about eachother. How can I marry someone I dont even know?" I asked.

"Are you saying you don't want to get married?" He panic'd.

"I-i didn't say that. I just-" I stopped to think.

"Kay." He said heading for the door.

"Keaton please don't." I cried.

"Why should I stay?" He asked angerly.

"Keaton please stay. I need you to stay." I said as the tears spilled down my face.

He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me calming himself down. He kissed the top of my head gently and sighed angerly. He breathed out and just held me close to him.

"I'm not going anywhere Aubrey. I love you." He whispered.

"You what?" I asked suprised.
