The halls of Whisbrook High were alive with the buzz of teenage chatter as I walked through the double doors, my backpack slung over my shoulder.

The moment I stepped inside, I felt a wave of curious eyes turning in my direction.

Whispers followed me down the corridor like a shadow, and I became acutely aware of the attention I was drawing.

I could hear the hushed giggles and the excited murmurs of my new classmates as I passed by.

Tall and handsome, they said. A mystery, some speculated.

The new kid in town, others whispered.

Yet, amid the attention, I kept my gaze fixed on the floor, determined to avoid unnecessary trouble.

As I walked to my first class, I noticed girls attempting to approach me, their smiles sweet and their eyes hopeful.

They sought to catch my attention, but I made a conscious effort to steer clear of their advances.

My focus was on my education, not on fleeting teenage romances.

The hallways seemed to stretch endlessly, each step carrying me deeper into the heart of the school.

Lockers slammed shut, and the scent of cafeteria food wafted through the air.

I couldn't help but overhear snippets of conversation as I passed groups of students, their topics ranging from weekend plans to the mysterious newcomer in town - me.

With every gaze that lingered a moment too long and every attempt at conversation, I maintained a polite distance.

I was cordial but distant, my responses measured, my smiles restrained. I wasn't here to make friends, at least not yet.

My priority was to settle into this new life, to explore the depths of my passion for boxing, and to unravel the secrets of Whisbrook.

Lunchtime at Whisbrook High was a chaotic affair. The cafeteria buzzed with energy, and the smell of various foods mingled in the air.

As I sat alone, contemplating my next move in this new environment, a group of guys approached, their confident strides and easy smiles marking them as the school's popular jocks.

"Hey there, you must be Ethan, right?" the tall, muscular guy in the center said, extending a hand toward me.

"I'm Mark, and these are my buddies, Rock, and Alex. We couldn't help but notice you're new here. Mind if we join you?"
