-PDV BLAIRE-

The weather is quite nice this morning. The sun has finally decided to come out.
I watch the few passers-by walking in front of me, a cigarette stuck between my fingers, my back pressed against the wall. I breathe in the morning air, listening to the birds singing in the trees.

Crysta joins me after a few minutes of solitude.

Crysta
- They've arrived, Blaire.

Blaire
- Coming.
I say, crushing my cigarette butt on the floor.

I put my hair back in place as I enter the room. In the background, I see our two managers and the group of boys. I can already see Keisha sighing as she approaches them.
As I stand in front of them, I shake their hands. Bill doesn't look very happy to be here, at least, that's what I tell myself when Gustav pats him on the back to make him smile a little more.

Chris
- Before we get started, I'd like to ask each of you to put your grudges aside so that everything runs smoothly.

Keisha
- It's okay Chris, we're not 7 anymore.

Chris
- That's the impression you gave a week ago when you were doing your cinema in my office.
he retorted.

I stop myself from laughing at the situation. The blonde's face turns red, which makes Tom's brother laugh.

Keisha
- What are you laughing at?

Bill
- It's your face that makes me laugh.

Keisha
- What's wrong with my face?!

Bill
- It's red.
He chuckled.

Keisha turns to stand with her back to them without saying another word. I smile at her childish reaction. Christina nudges me, making me turn my attention back to her.
She moves closer to my ear and utters the following words:

- Looks like someone really likes looking at you.

I frown slightly, directing my gaze to Tom. As soon as my eyes land on him, he looks away from Chris, which lets out a laugh from Christina's mouth.
I roll my eyes before Marc calls out to us.

Marc
- I've had a chat with Chris and we've decided that starting with music would be a good way to start. If all goes well, we'll think about a duo album.

Bill
- Great.
he sighed, crossing his arms against his chest.

Marc
- Today we're going to leave you alone. I'd like each of you to get to know each other better.

Chris
- For the next month, we'll be staying in a hotel. It'll be easier for everyone to get together at the studio. At the moment we only have one hotel for the next two weeks. So please be vigilant so that no one finds out where you're staying for the next 15 days. Have I made myself clear?

We all nod positively without saying anything.

Marc
- Right, then. We'll drop your stuff off at the hotel. We'll meet you outside in 5 minutes.
he says, clapping his hand.

I head for my suitcase and bags, which are deposited in a corner of the room. I bend over slightly to reach my things.

Georg
- Tom, stop staring at Blaire's ass!

At his words, I straighten up immediately, turning to face them.

Tom
- I wasn't even looking at her, bro ?!

Georg
- Yeah of course, you had your big eyes on her behind.

Tom
- Shut up Georg!

I sigh loudly as I grab my belongings to get out of the room as quickly as possible.
I'm putting my things in the car when a hand comes to rest on my shoulder.

Tom
- Hey, um, don't listen to Georg. I wasn't checking you out at all.

Blaire
- It's okay, Tom.

Tom
- No, but I don't want you to take me for someone who-

Blaire
- Who said I minded you checking me out?

Tom
- Wh-Wait, what?

I answer with a simple smile before getting into the car with the girls.

Keisha
- It's going to be a nightmare.

Christina
- You always have to complain...

Keisha
- Did you see how Bill teased me? I fucking hate him.

Christina
- Yeah yeah.

Crysta
- It's weird, but I can't believe you.

Keisha
- I hate this guy! I hate HIM, do you understand?!

Christina and Crysta start laughing. I rest my elbow against the car door, looking out the window at the scenery.

------

Chris
- So you each have a room. we were unable to take double or quadruple rooms, so it'll be like that.

Keisha
- Great! I'm going to get bored all alone in my room!

Chris
- Maybe if you're on your own, you'll be able to question yourself a bit about why you're always moaning?
he says, handing her the key to his room.

She grabs it furiously.
- I hate you, Chris!
she says, climbing the stairs.

Chris
- I like you too, Keisha.

Keisha's got a really shitty temper, if I do say so myself. She's always been like that, ever since we've known each other.
We first spoke in elementary school. She defended me against a group of three girls who were making fun of me for falling on the ground in the playground.
From that moment on, we've never let each other down.

Marc and Chris hand out room keys to each of us.

Crysta
- What?! We're not even on the same floor?
she exclaims.

Chris
- We couldn't help it.

Christina
- Great...

I watch the girls head for the elevator. Gustav, Georg and Bill have decided to take the stairs.
That leaves me and Tom at reception.
I head for the elevator, feeling him following me at my back, but I don't flinch.

We both enter, one after the other. A deathly silence reigns between these four walls. Neither of us dares speak.
On the fourth floor, I step out, noticing that he's still following me.

Blaire
- You're on this floor too?

Tom
- You think I'd follow you if I wasn't?

I sigh slightly.

Tom
- What's your room number?

Blaire
- 484 and yours?

Tom
- 483.
