-TOM'S POV-

I wasn't reassured, I knew he was going to find her.

I stopped dead in my tracks as we passed the entrance to the alley.

Bill turns to me, slightly confused.

Bill
- What are you doing?

Tom
- I've got a bad feeling about this.

Bill
- That we're going to get caught? It's crazy because I'm also-

Tom
- No, I'm not talking about that. Blaire is still hiding in the alley.

Bill slaps his forehead with his right hand.
- Damn, I forgot about that.

My eyes settle on his silhouette.
- I'll go around the building and enter the alley on the other side. Go back this way and we'll meet up.

Bill
- Why are you getting me into this mess again?

Tom
- Ask the guy who took the damn job.

He remains silent for a moment as I head for the building.

Bill
- But...I'm the one who accepted-
He's wide-eyed.
- Fucking hell.

I can't hear him anymore and I'm already on the other side of the building.

My heart races, my shoes make contact with the gravel on the dilapidated floor of this narrow, dark path.

All I can hear is the sound of my breathing and my heartbeat, accelerating in perfect harmony.

When I'm close enough to where we were just a few minutes before, I spot two shadows under the light of the street lamp.

A woman...

And a man...

He'd found her.

I carefully remove my pistol from the pocket of my leather jacket. I bring my second hand over it to hold it in place.

When I look up, I notice my brother on the other side, his eyes wide open as he stares at the two people.

I tilt my head slightly, fear welling up inside me as I see John, the gun pointed at Blaire's forehead.

I nod to my brother, who also has his pistol in his hands.

We both step forward, pointing our guns at either side of John's head.

Bill
- Touch her...

Tom
- And we kill you.

Blaire automatically opens his eyes as John looks slightly frightened.

John
- I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Bill
- We could say the same thing to you.

John
- Don't forget my gun is pointed at your pretty brunette's head.

Tom
- And don't forget you've got two guns pointed at your rat face.

John turns his head slightly towards me, his jaw tightening as he takes a deep breath.
- You want to play smart, Kaulitz?

Tom
- If this is all a game to you, you've already lost.

John
- And you're sure of the information you're giving me?

Tom
- I'm certain of it.
