Gun to my head, hand trembling, my finger slipping on the trigger. It was all I had left to do.

I closed my eyes in a fit of stupidity and recklessness, my shot about to drop.

A hand reaches for the gun, turning it on its side as the bullet leaves the tank.

I open my eyes, turning to face the person beside me.

- Blaire...

I look at him, before staring at my lover's body.

I collapse into Bill's arms, who couldn't take his eyes off the lifeless body of his twin.

*10:27 pm*

Ambulance sirens kill my eardrums.

The red and blue lights are almost blinding.

The screams of the nurses running from left to right.

Me, sitting on the edge of the van, a blanket around my shoulders. The icy wind tickling my face.

My head on Bill's shoulder, my heart gone with Tom.

I stared into space, not wanting to believe what had just happened.

The blood on my hands almost makes me sick.

A glimmer of hope still hidden deep in my eyes.

Bill gently shakes me back to my senses.

Bill
- Blaire...

I look up at him; he was at his worst too, having just lost his pillar, his brother.

He swallows his tears, resting his lips on my forehead for half a second.

I nodded, giving him a slight smile before resting my head back against his arm, completely traumatized and disorientated.

In a fraction of a second, I'd lost practically everything. My family, my boyfriend.

My head straightens slightly, the moon is shining tonight. The moon is so beautiful.

My eyes fill with tears again as I press my lips together.

Bill looks up at me. His arm wraps around my body, totally helpless in the face of the situation.

When the moon meets the sun, I know I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Anything that connects me to him will be another ray of hope.

Because I know for a fact that he won't really leave us. I know he'll always be there, always present.

The nurses jostle each other as one can be heard exclaiming:

"He's breathing!"
