Purpled 3rd Person POV:

The water crashed into Purpled like a boulder slamming onto his head. He gasped and his body went into autopilot, trying to jerk out of Dream's grasp. The harsh liquid ran into his eyes, and beat down upon him, threatening to squish him flat to the ground.

When the water suddenly stopped trying to kill him and he stumbled onto hard ground, he could not for the life of him understand how he had survived that.

"D-Dream!" he sputtered, staring at his ruined gloves and pants while he dried his wet eyes fruitlessly with his soaking sweater. He coughed, gasping for breath as he shivered in the icy air. "A-are you trying to k-kill me!?" His left arm stung like fire.

"You would have never agreed if I told you," Dream said, unwrapping his arms from around Purpled. He had no idea when Dream surrounded him in a hug, and as soon as the man stopped touching him, he stumbled to the far side of the cave, still coughing, clutching his left arm.

"Agree to kill myself? Of c-course not!"

"I'm not trying to get you killed. I wanted to show you the door, remember? Here is where it is!" Dream shivered and rubbed his arms for heat. "The only problem is that the water is hecka cold. I'm glad I started this fire yesterday."

"No kidding." His body began to shiver, and he hugged himself. Goosebumps crawled over his skin, and he felt like a wet dog in all of his clothes. "Is-s the stupid door worth-th this much at-ttention?"

"You'll see. If anything, I find it interesting."

"Awesome," he grumbled, cupping his hands and blowing into them.

Dream walked forward and Purpled watched him as he strode up to a door. The walls around were a sandy color, illuminated by the bonfire currently crackling. He eyed Dream for a moment before abandoning all caution and immediately rushed to it, shivering when the warm air touched his skin. Telling him just how frozen he was.

The door itself was dented and scratched a million times. No visible door handle stood out, and no window allowed a peek inside of it. A couple rocks were littered around the door, and Purpled didn't have a hard time guessing where all the dents came from.

Dream picked a large stone up and hefted it. "So this is what I've been doing for the past three days," he said above the crashing sound of the waterfall. "Trying to open it. I think I'm close, I mean, it can't stand forever, can it?"

"The way you are doing it, yes it can." Purped shifted even closer to the fire, practically touching the metal barrier.

"Hmm? What do you mean?"

"That door is made to withstand pressure," he explained, taking his gloves off and placing them on the metal wall. "I mean, if people found out about this, they could try to drown out this place with the waterfall. Look at the size of the dents you made. You didn't really do all too much." When the water touched the sides, a sizzling sound filled the air.

The man dropped the rock and crossed his arms. "Well, then, you open it."

Purpled took his sweater off and cracked his knuckles. "No sweat." His black shirt stuck to him like it was afraid of the outside world, and it made the air around seem even colder. But, he ignored it and made his way to the door.

Grabbing a thin knife from his jeans, he inserted the blade into the side of the door. Slowly, he ran it down marveling at how after abandonment, no dust piles stopped the blade from going through.

"What the heck will that do?" Dream asked, his skepticism rolling off him in waves.

"Clearly, you've never broken into a door here at Rosesquare before. These doors work differently than from any other place, apparently. And once you know the trick, you can break into them all."
