Chapter 22

(Mia's P.O.V.)

Ugh. Its Monday.

I slapped my alarm clock ( almost breaking it for the 5th time this month ) till it finally shut up. I stretched, clenching my fists and I felt my muscles loosening.

Rubbing my left eye, I looked around taking in the new almost-risen morning sun from my balcony doors. It was beautiful. I decided I should probably get up and get ready for school. Honestly, the only thing I look forward to at school are my friends.

I checked up on my parents before going to the bathroom. Mom is in bed but I didn't see dad so I guess he's still on the living room couch. I walked back into my room and grabbed an outfit: black skinny jeans, plain white shirt, leather jacket, and my black combat boots. To top it off, I'm wearing my hair down, my red lipstick and my necklace with my name on it . I was gonna look pretty badarse today.

I walked through the school doors and immediately searched for one of my friends. I walked to my locker and there was that dirty blonde best friend of mine.

"Hey! Omg outfit on fleek! Anyways, how bad were they this time?" she asked.

"Thanks! Eh, not bad compared to last time. I mean, at least I didn't have to deal with their whining."

"Great! You seen Mike anywhere?"

"Umm, no..." I said.

" I haven't seen any of the boys all morning" she sighed.

"Where the heck would they be? Classes are about to start and I know for a fact Mike would never skip a class on purpose. Evan... Well he could give less of a crap."

We started making our way towards our first class, English.

"Very true. Maybe they're already in class?"

"Maybe."

We made it to class the second the bell rang.
