Chapter 2. What In The Cosmic Stars Is In My House.

I sat down on my couch "what am i doing..." I mumbled to myself, barely able to hear my own voice over how loud my thoughts are. I jumped as I heard a crashing sound come from my bedroom and someone yell. "Oh shoot.." I mumbled beneath my breath, realizing he was awake, and then the door opened. "WHERE AM I- AH! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU-" I swallowed all my thoughts.. and saliva. "Uhm- i'm Asher Xi, and you're currently in my house." He stared blankly in my eyes, confused. Probably? I think? "Uhm.. okay- let me put more contact into this.. So- you crashed into my front yard, and.. You feel unconscious after climbing out of your ship..? I think that's what it is..  And I carried you into my house. Does that make any sense?" He slowly nodded his head. "Okay good- now, can I ask you a question?" He nodded his head again. "Who are you, and where did you come from? Because you don't really look like an astronaut to me.." I sat down on the couch and waited patiently for his response. "My name is Cosmic, Cosmic Stars... And, I come from a Planet  very far away from here.." I watched as he sat down with me down the couch, his appearance was so.. Unusual? His eyes had their own galaxy in them, and his ears were pointed. He was so.. pretty. "So you're technically an alien?" "Yes, technically I am." "Why were you here, on earth?" I asked hoping I wasn't asking too many questions. "Uhm.. I'd prefer not to answer that question.."
"Ah, okay.. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable, uhm but.. Do you have a place to stay? I mean.. Your ship looks destroyed..." He looked at me for a second, then looked away. "Shoot... I didn't think that far... i'll just leave- I shouldn't be wasting your time anymore.." He sat up and walked over towards my front door, I sat up and grabbed his wrist. "Wait-! You're not just gonna leave, when I clearly know you're not human, are you? Why not just stay here? I'll teach you how to live life here, on earth. You can be like.. My roommate or something!" Cosmic sighed and looked up to me. "Fine.. it's not like i have another option.." "well.. Technically you do, but.. Y'know what- Never mind that-!" I let go of his wrist and sat back down on my couch, looking up at him as he stood over me waiting for him to say something. "Gosh.. do you really have to look at me with those eyes...?" He turned his head away. I noticed that he had started to blush, maybe from embarrassment? Then I realized and turned my head away, facing the wall behind my couch, my face flushed. "Right.. Uhm.. sorry." The both of us stay like this until Cosmic speaks. "So, uhm.. Tell me about yourself, Asher..." I looked up at him, confused. "Shouldn't I be asking you that question?.. Or, something?" "well.. I thought it would be better if I asked you.. So, I could learn about what you like so... I don't know. Learn what humans like?" I was confused for a bit, not really understanding why he would want to learn more about me to be more human. "Uhm, okay?" Cosmic smiled at me, and waited for me to speak. "Uhm.. I like music and baking, I can play the guitar and the bass.. I know how to speak other languages.. I write as a hobby sometimes.. I draw, uhm.. I can't really think of much right now- sorry i.. I'm really tired.." I sighed and brought my hand up to my forehead and ran my fingers through my hair. "Oh! No worries, you can rest for a bit or something if you want.." Cosmic smiled and helped bring me to my bed. "I can walk y'know.. Also, how do I know you're not gonna like, rob me?.. Or something?" I frowned as he chuckled, ruffling my hair making my face turn a light shade of red. "Why would I rob you? And besides.. I don't have anywhere else to go besides my home plant.. And they probably wouldn't be so happy to see me after what I did... uhm- now let's get you to bed!" Cosmic looked worried but I didn't want to force him to talk... "yeah- uh.. What are you going to do while I'm asleep anyways?..." "I'll probably watch over you, maybe look around your living space so I know what my surroundings are!" A sigh came out of my mouth as I lay down in bed and did my best to get comfortable. "Okay.. uh.. I'll see you in the morning then.. Night Cosmic.." "goodnight Asher.." I watched him pat my head before I fell asleep.

I woke up a little after 8:00 AM, I got out of bed and did my morning routine. Almost forgetting there was an alien being in my house.. Almost.. "Oh- Good morning asher!" I rubbed my eyes as I entered my living room. "Wha-.. who-.. Oh right... Morning Cosmic.. How are you?" He smiled brightly. "I'm doing good this morning! What about you?" I shrugged and ran my fingers through my hair. "I'm alright... just tired, I guess." We sat in silence before I spoke again, Running my fingers through my hair. "Y'know... how about I teach you how to cook something?" I smiled as Cosmic nodded his head, this is gonna be fun.
