"Hayden," his father sighed, embracing the teen in his arms. Hayden smiled, hugging Voldemort — disguised, as always — back just as tightly.

Luna smiled, patting Hayden's shoulder as she left with her father. He blinked lazily at her, smirking as she winked at him, then looked up at his father.

"I missed you, father," he said softly, and the man placed a hand on his head while smiling.

"I know," he murmured. "Let's go home, then." Hayden nodded, reluctantly letting go of Voldemort and instead taking his hand so they could apparate.

Once they were inside the manor that Hayden had thoroughly explored before, Voldemort pulled him into another hug, dropping the glamour so he was much taller again. With the glamour, Hayden only came up to his chin, and now he barely reached up to the top of his father's shoulder.

" Did Dumbledore try anything? " he hissed out, and Hayden shook his head as he buried his face in his father's robes.

" No, but his little Boy Who Lived and his friends did, " Hayden responded, also in parseltongue. Voldemort nodded, stroking the teen's hair gently. " They were so annoying, father. As was Draco. Are you sure I can't-? "

" Curse them? Yes, I am sure, Hayden, " Voldemort chuckled as the teen pouted.

"Tell me about the classes."
