Chapter 5

I decided that Hailey's voice will be Sabrina Carpenter's just so you know.

Hailey

My nerves are skyrocketing. I am currently standing back stage in the vampire world.

I go on in 10 minutes in front
of thousands of people, but that's not the part that scares me. Sure I have done many concerts in the human world, but not in the vampire world!

"Calm down, you look like you are going to pass out" my best friend Gabby said

"Honestly that would be better than meeting vampires" I said

She rolled her eyes" Your the one that agreed to this"

"I know, I know, it doesn't mean I am ready for it." I said releasing a breath

"You got this. You are THE Hailey Blakely. You can do anything" Gabby said pumping her fist in the air

I smiled. I did good on choosing my bestie.

"Thanks, your the best" I said hugging her

"I know" she said flipping her hair grinning

I shook my head smiling

"Your on in 5" my manager Addison said running past me

"Okay, I got this" I said giving myself a pep talk

"Ya you do" Gabby replied sassily

"I can't wait to see how hot your fiance is" she said lightly elbowing me in the shoulder wiggling her eyebrows

I just rolled my eyes

"Shoo shoo, I am about to go on" I said making a shooing motion with my hands.

"Okay, remember to breathe" she said walking off

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not 2" I yelled

The lights shut down and the music to Why started.

"Here we go" I whispered under my breath before stepping onto the stage

Lucas

I was sitting outside in one of the royal boxes with my family.

We are waiting for my future fiance Hailey or as I call her spoiled brat to come on stage.
The concert is outside. We are sitting up high in a box with plush read seats.

My 5 year old sister has no idea who is going to be singing. My mother wanted it to be a surprise.

We have been waiting for over 30 minutes.
If I could I would have not attended,but my parents forced me to. Apparently we will be meeting her after her concert.

Hopefully her voice is not terrible.

All of a sudden the lights turned off and the music started.

I hate to admit it, but a calm angelic voice started singing

"You like New York city in the daytime"

"Ahhh" my sister Olivia screamed jumping up and down clapping her hands with a huge grin. I noticed Hailey look in our direction and give Olivia a small wave while singing

"I like New York city in the nighttime

I sleep late, so I just keep 'em all closed

Her voice is really good.  A lot of people are screaming of joy in the crowd, killing my ear drums. Including Olivia. At least Olivia is happy though. I continued listening to Hailey while studying her.

Her brown hair is lightly curled and let in lose waves ending at her waist. She is wearing a silver dress with gold jewels on it. It's tight at top, but lose after the waist, and ends at the knees it is beautiful. I wonder what her personality is like. I wondered as I continued to listen to her voice.

As soon as the song ended everyone broke into a huge applause. I did a small clap. I have to keep my reputation up, but honestly her performance was great. Maybe the concert won't be so bad

"Thank you everyone for coming" she spoke into the microphone smiling

That was followed by another round of applause

"Who is ready for more" she yelled in the microphone causing every human to scream yes while some vampires covered their ears.

Once again the lights died and the music started. Here we go again.
