Wooyoung was trying his best not to fail any of his exams cause that would mean he'd have to be in Korea until the second examination. Which was mid November. He wanted to fly to America the fastest he could.

He had been thinking about his and San's situation a lot. He had had lengthy discussions about it with Yeosang as well and Yunho, as the good friend he is, tried to appeal for his ceo of a friend.

At the beginning Wooyoung thought that San put Yunho to speak up for him, thus he argued with the taller boy a lot. But Yunho swore on his precious relationship that San had no idea of him trying to make Wooyoung understand the latter.

Wooyoung... I know you probably hate San but please think about it. San has been a problematic person, with a disturbing family background you'd have no idea. All his cockiness and his coldness has been a defense mechanism, even if he doesn't admit that. I have never seen him this worried about a person. If you weren't important to San, he wouldn't come out to his mother, who he loves dearly. He would just as easily continue to fuck the rest of the population he didn't get his hands on yet in this university. And it wouldn't even be that hard for him. But he hasn't slept around ever since you and Yeosang came to Hongjoong's place for the first time; all those months back. I'm not asking you to forgive him. I am asking you to understand him. I don't even think San is gay, I think he is gay just for you.

Yunho said word per word that one night that he invited him for a couple of drinks. And it honestly turned a switch in the younger's head. He knows that in the past San's father would use physical abuse for discipline, it slipped out of San when they were having a serious conversation once.

The old man stopped when San became old enough to defend himself, smart enough to turn his business empire into crumbles. San's father feared his son's intelligence, especially when San promised him that he'd make him and his whole castle burn if he'd continue with his ways. Wooyoung really admired San the moment he learned about that. San was a man in a teenager's body way before he had to lose his teenage spark. It was actually an unfortunate life. But San carried on just fine.

Wooyoung would think and focus more on the things San would say when he had his guard down. Because that was the San that didn't get to filter his thoughts nor his words.

And those times were the moments Wooyoung would honestly feel happy around the older.

So he decided to act blind-selfishly for one more time. And if it went to the drain, he'd have only himself to blame. San has given him space. But the space he thought he needed felt too big and too lonely for him. He realized, even if he tried his hardest, he couldn't live a life without San anymore. And the fact that San accepted a life that he despised just to give him space to breathe really touched his heart.

Wooyoung nodded his head determinedly as he tightened his hold on his pen. He shook his head. He had to go through this. How did he even dare daydream on his last exam. His eyes flew to the wall clock of his classroom. 34 minutes left. He can do it. He's not someone who gives up. This is dance history. It's his forte.

He took a deep breath and started answering the questions one by one. He would occasionally check in with the time. He was so nervous. Not because it was a hard subject, no. Because it was his last step before seeing San. The last mission.

He hurriedly wrote the last sentence, feeling his wrist starting to sore up. He exhaled loudly before dropping his pen on the desk, looking at the time one last time. 1 minute left. He sunk into his seat, dropping his head back in relief.

Not long after his teacher passed by to collect his sheet and he ran to the cafeteria. His usual table occupied by Yeosang who was reading a book that apparently wasn't linked to his classes. Well unless they studied demonic possession. Wooyoung shivered at the thought, still finding Yeosang weird for his linkings even if he knows him practically for his whole life.
