San was having the worst time in LA. The company was giving him stress, also he recently failed to charm one of the companies his father wanted to collaborate with and he got the nagging of his lifetime.
He also couldn't stop thinking about the younger dancer in Korea. He had one chance, it was going all so good how could it fuck up just when he was going to meet him in person? He wanted to spend the week taking the younger on dates. He wanted to spoil him, to make up to him but his immaturity bit back at him eventually.
He was having daily headaches and Mr. Harris calling him every three minutes to assign him to meetings or to ask about work stuff was having its toll on him. He barely slept, he barely ate and he didn't even have time to exercise. You could say he was having it bad.
Two months passed since he saw Wooyoung for the last time and the only times he heard anything related to the younger was whenever Seonghwa called him while the other was around.
But save, he was so busy that even video calls were cut down to once per week or per two weeks. Seonghwa was scolding him for not taking care of himself, his dad was lecturing him why he should put the company before himself and Mr. Harris was expressing concerns about his health whilst pushing him into meetings after meetings.
San sighed loudly as he dropped his body on his leather sofa, loosening the tight tie that was starting to suffocate him before he unbuttoned 3 of his buttons.
He ran a hand through his neatly styled hair to mess them a bit as he felt his stomach crying for food. Picking up his phone he scrolled down through a delivery food application that recently turn to come very handy. Before he surfed into it his phone started vibrating, Seonghwa's ID shining brightly. San smiled tiredly picking up the call.
"Ssup" he said smiling brightly at the other. "Gosh, you look like half a person at this point. Are you dying?" Seonghwa joked but his eyes showed concern either way. San snickered before rolling his eyes. "You could say."
"What time is it there?" Seonghwa asked and San laughed before he could say anything. "Did you call before checking? So much for scolding me all the time about my sleep schedule. It's 3:30" he replied a hue of smile still on his tired features. "Oh? That's early" Seonghwa exhaled relieved and San shook his head amused. "In the morning Seonghwa" he pinpointed and Seonghwa gasped.
"Why are you awake again?!" Seonghwa nagged but before he replied he heard that honey like voice in the background and he felt his heart squeezing. He was laughing, that seal like laugh that made San's heart beat faster. Seonghwa must have noticed the hitched breath since he looked at his left, probably at the younger.
"Oh yeah Wooyoung is here you wanna say hi?" Seonghwa asked and San shook his head. "It's not important if I want. I don't think he'd like that" he said and there was silence at the other side of the line. "Well, you don't get to decide for me. I want to say hi" the honey like voice sassed again and San widened his eyes. He thought Seonghwa was wearing earphones.
Suddenly the other phone was snatched by Wooyoung. They stared at each other for spout 10 seconds before anything was uttered. "Well, hi" said the older awkwardly. "You do look like shit" Wooyoung said out of the blue, referring to the blonde's earlier statement.
San chuckled at that before knocking his head to the side. "Oh why thank you kind sir" he replied in fake offended tone. "What were you doing at this late of the night?" The younger asked again worriedly. Stretching San laid on his sofa "I had three meetings in a row earlier and just came home. I hate this place" San whined. It's the first time in 3 weeks he can be himself around another human being, always having to act like he is a 50 year old mature businessman. It was draining.
