"𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲.....𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲..."

I whisper quietly to Sidney, the only sounds that could be heard was me and Sidney's rapid breathing of fear. Sidney stayed stuck to me like glue, hugging tightly onto me as she gripped my shirt in fear not wanting to let go, her face still hidden in my side.

I continue to stare at Sidney's bedroom door that was now stabbed in and opened ajar, her closet door blocking it from opening all the way.

....Ghost Face was no longer there.

"G-Gone?" Sidney asked quietly in a whisper of fear as she slowly lifted up her head from my side to look up at me. I didn't need to look to know that Sidney's eyes were full of tears, wide in both shock in fear as she continued to stare at me.

"Do...do you have a baseball bat or something?" I ask Sidney quietly to which Sidney just stared at me in silence still, making me look over and down at her.

"Sid...I know you're scared but...if we want to be sure that the killer is gone..." I trail off quietly, watching as Sidney's eyes widened more and more in fear as I spoke.

"No...no please, don't Y/n...don't go out there alone, don't leave" Sidney responded to me in fear to which I sighed quietly.

"Sidney, do you have a baseba bat? Yes or no?" I then asked seriously to Sidney to which she went silent, still staring at me in shock before slowly looking down at the floor and nodding.

Sidney couldn't argue with me now and she knew it. Someone had to check for sure that the killer was truly gone and she knew damn well that I wasn't going to let her.

I then watched as Sidney slowly let go of me and slowly walked over to her bed both carefully and quietly, as if scared that Ghost Face was going to come back suddenly and kill the both of us if we made the smallest bit of noise.

I then watched as Sidney got on her knees and looked over at me one more time before nodding and leaning down to look under her bed, reaching under there and grabbing her baseball bat quickly. Sidney then got up just as quickly and went back over to me, quickly handing me the baseball bat.

I let go of my upper right arm muscle, ignoring the blood that still slowly dripped down my arm and slowly onto the floor as I grabbed the bar. Ignoring the fact that the blood on my hand from my injury went in the baseball bar's end when I grabbed it, leaving bloodied hand markings.

I look over at Sidney and give her a small nod, filled with determination, ready to fight and try my best to fight off Ghost Face if they were to try to attack again.

I then slowly walked over toward the door, holding the baseball bat up in a defensive position as I stared at the door for a few seconds, debating whether or not to keep going and test my luck. Sidney still stood in the same position and spot that I left her, watching with fear and worry as she then watched me reach toward the handles of both door and closet.

I quickly grabbed the closet door and pulled it, making it slam close as I then quickly grabbed the bedroom door handle and pulled it open quickly, making it slam against the wall of Sidney's bedroom. I quickly held my bat out, ready for Ghost Face to jump at me as Sidney flinched, also expecting Ghost Face to jump out.

𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.

𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹.

I walked slowly out of Sidney's bedroom, still holding the baseball bat out as I looked around, down the hallway and then looking down as much of the stairs that I could see from where I stood. Ghost Face no where to be found....
