☏ 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 ☏

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗮𝘀 𝗜 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵.

I took a deep breath from the sudden scare of the phone ringing before shaking my head and looking over at Sidney who stirred in her sleep before slowly opening her eyes to look at me tiredly. I turn to look at the time in the clock.

7:15 pm.

"Shit, looks like Tatum's gonna be late" I say quietly as I looked over to Sidney who let out a yawn as she stretched.

"The phone's ringing, that must be her calling to tell us she's late..." Sidney says quietly to which I stood up from the couch with a smile.

"Don't worry, I'll get it" I say to Sidney with a reassuring smile as I stretched before walking over to where the phone sat near the kitchen and picking up.

"Prescott residence, this is Y/n speaking for one of the Prescott's" I say quietly over the phone as I waited for the other person to respond.

"Hey Y/n, practice ran late but I'm on my way" Tatum answered to which I smiled tiredly.

"Nah, you're cool, me and Sidney just had the naps of our lives so yeah, you can take your time no rush" I reply back.

"No wonder why your voice sounded weird, you just woke up Mr. Crinkly" Tatum said jokingly to which I rolled my eyes with another smile.

"My voice is not crinkly, you're just mad because I have the sexiest voice of a lifetime that you'll never be able to hear from anyone but me" I reply with a smirk to which Tatum sighed in disappointment. I could picture Tatum rolling her eyes on the other side of the phone.

"Whatever, anyways I'll see you later" Tatum then said, about to hang up the phone before I spoke up suddenly.

"You better hurry, I can literally sense Dewey panicking right now, feeling he's at the point of losing his job because I'm not there in his line of sight as his boss ordered" I say with a laugh.

"Yeah, yeah, don't worry, they won't know and you also won't get killed tonight either, Casey and Steve didn't bite it till way after 10" Tatum then said, making me go silent as I began to frown.

Tatum noticed my silence and spoke once again, "Sorry, bad joke..." Tatum apologized to which ai shook my head with a smile.

"No, it's fine..." I say quietly, me and Tatum not talking for a few seconds before Tatum spoke once again.

"Well, I'm gonna run over to Blockbuster real quick to get us a movie to watch tonight. I was thinking Tom Cruise in all the right moves, you know, if you pause it just right you can see his penis" Tatum had said, trying to lift up the mood to which I only sighed in disappointment.

"And why would this make me happy?" I say quietly to which Tatum just sighed.

"Well never mind then, I'll see you later dork, bye" Tatum said before hanging up.

I let out another sigh before setting the phone back down and walking away from it, heading back to Sidney in the living room to tell her that Tatum was coming, only to stop when the phone suddenly rang again, making me slowly turn and stare at it for a few seconds with a raised brow.

That has to be Tatum, it was too quick for it to not be...

I walk over with a small look of annoyance before picking up the phone, "What's up now Tatum?" I answer the phone with an annoyed expression, just wanting Tatum to hurry up already instead of waste time talking over the phone.
