Tris
Uriah and I make our way to homeroom. When we get there, there are only two seats left and they're right beside each other. My first thought that comes to mind 'Yes' and I do a victory dance in my head.
I notice that Ms.Wu isn't here yet, so we all just sit around and talk. I notice that Chris, Mar & Lynn are in this class too. They see us and make their way over.
"Hey Tris, Uri!" Chris says, Uriah and I just say 'Hi' back and in unison and then we both look at each other and start laughing.
"Tris I love your boots, are they name brand?" Chris asks looking at them.
"Yeah, they're chocolate brown Uggs and they were a few hundred dollars but I have more at home." I say looking at them.
"You have Uggs, I mean I shop a lot but my parents would never let me buy boots that were more than hundred dollars, how much were they." She asks me.
"Um they were a little over three hundred but that's including tax." I say likes it nothing.
"Wow, your parents must really love you if they let you buy those." She says astonished.
"If you want I can buy you a pair." I say laughing a bit.
"Really you would buy me three hundred dollar boots?" She ask unbelievingly
"Yeah sure we can go tomorrow if you want." I tell her.
"Ok how about tomorrow after school." She asks.
"Yeah that's fine, I will give you a ride if you want." She nods her head yes in response.
"Oh yeah before I forget, Tris, Zeke and I having a Candor or Dauntless party Friday around eight, world you want to come?" Uriah asks me.
I'm actually really surprised because I've never been invited to a party because no one liked me at my other schools so I've only heard of the game but never played it so I have no idea how to play.
"Yeah sure but I do have one question."
"What?" Uri asks a little confused.
"You will think I'm crazy but I don't know how to play Candor or Dauntless I've only heard of it before." I say and they look at me like I'm crazy. Uriah gasps and it makes my laugh because he puts his hand on his chest and he pretends to faint.
"How do you not know how to play Candor or Dauntless?" Chris asks me.
"Well at my other schools, this is the second new school I've been two in the past two years, I was the outcast people would bully me for no reason I never even did anything to them & since no one liked me I never got invited to the parties people would have and I never even bothered throwing parties even if it was my birthday because no one would care or even come." I say looking and then I look up at them. Chris and Mar look like they will be in tears while Uriah and Lynn are giving me a look of pity.
"Since all of that happened to me I've resorted to slitting my wrist, I've only done it once and I got three slits in on one wrist only because my mom caught my and rushed my to the hospital." I say showing them the scars that were left after they healed.
"So I'm really hoping this new school and year will be different." I look at Chris and Mar and they have a few years coming down their cheeks. Uriah and Lynn are just looking at the floor not even looking at me.
"Tris you didn't deserve any of those things to happen to you." Uriah says finally looking up at me.
"It's ok I got threw it, the doctors suggested I go to a therapist. So my mom took me to the best one she could find. The therapist suggested that we move to this town and have me go to this school, so here I am." I say with a small smile at the end.
I check my phone and the bell that starts class should ring any second now. I look up and I see Ms.Wu walking into class and it looks as if she were in a hurry.
*RING*
The class bell went off and everyone went to their seats.
"Ok class today we will start a group project." Ms.Wu says passing out papers. When I get my paper it's a 'All About Me' quiz. This sounds like fun.
"I will be partnering you all up with someone and it will be boy & girl." She states sitting back down at her desk and a bunch of groans go around the room.
"I will write the partners up on the board."

And the list goes on with a bunch of people I don't know. The only thing that really matters to me is that I got partnered up with Uriah.
"Uriah do you want to come over to my place to do this project?" I ask him.
"Yeah that's fine with me." He replies before Ms.Wu starts to talk again.
"Now class keep in mind that these will be your partners for the whole school year!" Then I do a victory dance in my head.
Uriah
I'm glad that Tris is partner and for the whole school year. For the rest of class Ms.Wu lets us get up and talk with our friends. So for the remainder of class Tris, Chris, Mar, Lynn & I talk about the party Friday and I explain the rules to Tris.
The other two classes before lunch seemed to blow by but I think I fell asleep at one point. I still don't know. Tris and I are on our way to lunch and Tris is just taking her time while I can't wait to get to the lunch room because of the dauntless cake.
I'm running to get a good spot in line I pushed down a few people on my way though but who cares. I need dauntless cake and I need it now.
"Uriah calm down, your running people over." I hear Tris say from behind me, I just roll my eyes at her.
"No, I have to get my cake and NOW!" I almost yell in her face and she puts her hands up in surrender.
"Again calm down & it's just cake no need to make a huge fuss over it." She says getting in line with me and I gasp in shock and I put my hand on my chest.
"You did NOT just say that." I say and then I 'Z' snap my fingers in her face.
"Yeah I just did, let's just get our lunch and sit down." She says rolling her eyes at me and I glare at her a bit.
I buy three pieces of cake, hamburger & fries. Tris got a piece of cake and pizza. We go and sit with our friends.
"Uriah are you sure you got enough cake?" Tris asks me and it sounded a bit sarcastic.
"Yes well maybe not, why don't you just try it and tell me what you think." I counter.
"Ok whatever it's just chocolate cake." I hear Zeke and Four gasp in shock at what she said. Tris takes a bite out of her cake and her expression didn't change at all. How? Is all I want to know.
"It tastes exactly like the cake me and my mom make all the time." I look at her in 'Aw' because I don't even know how to make Dauntless cake.
"Your mom knows how to make Dauntless cake?" I ask with disbelief.
"Yeah and so can I, like I said we make it together all the time." Tris replies
"No way!" Zeke, Four and I yell in unison.
