Chapter 5: Weapons, Vampires, Disciplinary Committee?! Oh my!

Alondra's P.O.V.

"Well come on open the box, Alondra!" Headmaster Cross tells me in a very annoying giddy tone. I'm very suspicious of the box in front of me.

I reach for the box, but I hesitate opening it. I quit stalling, and open the box with my eyes closed. I slowly open one eye and see two guns. One of them is blue and the other one is black.

"Blue Rose and Black Rose." I say like I've held these weapons my entire life. They speak to me. These were the whispers I had heard.

Zero's P.O.V.

She's staring at them with so much familiarity. I can't help but wonder who she is. Only vampire hunters have the ability to wield anti-vampire weapons.

Then again Yuki can wield them too, and she's not a hunter. Is it because of Alondra's mother's human blood? Could her mother have vampire hunter ancestry? I wouldn't know. I hardly know her.

Alondra's P.O.V.

"So why are you giving me these guns? I mean do I have to kill someone?!" I'm startled by my own words. The Headmaster starts laughing uncontrollably. Why do people find my honesty humorous? Oh well that's not the case right now. Once he stops and regains his composure he speaks.

"My goodness, no! In fact," He pulls out this white cloth from his desk and hands it to me. I turn it around and see that it has the same mark as the badges that Zero and Yuki have. I look at him confused.

"I want you to be a school guardian. But to my regular Day Class students you'll just be a prefect in the Disciplinary Committee." I was about to ask something else, but Zero beats me to it.

"So you're going to transfer her to the Day Class?" Why would he do that? What could he be planning?

Zero's P.O.V.

"No of course not. She is going to be guardian for the Night Class. Yuki and you need rest. I get so many complaints from your teachers of you two sleeping through classes. Now that Alondra is here I know I can trust her to watch the Night Class and the Day Class."

Since when did the complaints of the teachers matter to him? There is definitely something going on. I have to find out what it is. She looks just as confused as I feel.

Alondra's P.O.V.

"Wait I have to do that by myself?" I'm not saying that because I can't do it. I just said it because I was never one for patience. I have a raging temper. So I don't understand why he would trust me with this. What is this guy planning? I will find out!

"Yes, but for a couple of days I'll have Yuki and Zero helping you out. Showing you the areas where you need to watch the most. How to spot any Day Class students going near the Night Classes and or dorms." Okay so maybe I might not be able to do that all by myself.

I frown at him. I might just try out these guns on him. I think he read my thoughts seeing as he took the box back and had made sure to put it on the floor away from me. I smile innocently.

"You realize that I'm just one per-vampire, right?" I say calmly and with a nice smile, but then I do this,

"SO HOW ON EARTH DO YOU EXPECT ME TO WATCH THOSE HUGE BUILDINGS FROM A WHOLE BUNCH OF CRAZY FAN GIRLS AND BOYS! WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M MADE OF?!" By the time I started yelling at him my hands were gripping his shirt.

I guess I don't know how strong a vampire is seeing as I was able to pull him from his seat and put us face to face like it was nothing. I let him go and he falls back fainted. Or at least pretending to be.
