I smile smugly as I waltz into Harrington's coffee shop, my smugness increases when I notice the hungover black haired man at the counter.'
'Hey buddy, how's your head this morning?'
'It feels like it's about to explode.'
'That's my head every morning, you'll get used too it.'
'I'd rather not.'
My demeanour turns softer, 'How you doing?'
Oliver freezes for a second, 'I'm...fine.'
'Are you actually fine? Or do you just want me to leave you alone?'
'I don't know.'
'I'm doing a one time only deal, I will sit in silence while I drink my coffee this morning.'
'No.' He says quickly, 'I would find it too weird if I was actually around you and I could hear myself think.'
I laugh softly to myself, 'Do you want to do something fun with me this afternoon?'
He raises an eyebrow, 'It depends on what you'd consider fun?'
'Okay, so I'm moving apartments! So you can come with me to hunt for my new pad and then I've been feeling an identity crisis coming on for quite a while and I want to dye these blonde locks, a sophisticated chocolate brown.'
'I couldn't imagine you with brown hair.'
'Soon you won't have to imagine. So what do you say?'
'I don't know...'
'I promise, it'll be lots of fun!'
'Fine, I'll ask my dad if I can get off early.'
I clap my hands together with excitement, 'I can't wait.'
...
The estate agent flashes me a bright smile as she finishes the tour and honestly I was in complete awe with how beautiful this place is. All I can picture is Belle running around here, slowly growing up with largest grin on her face.
'So what do you guy's think?'
I link my arm with Oliver's as I give him a teasing look, 'I think it's perfect, what do you think honey?'
He blinks slowly, 'What?'
'Although I can't imagine we'll be spending much time away from the bedroom, if you know what I mean.'
His cheeks flush a deep red, 'She doesn't mean that.'
'Oh I do, we're like rabbits.'
The estate agents laughs loudly, 'I remember when me and my husband where like that...it seems like forever ago now.'
'Oh you're married, you've got to tell me how you did that. I've been nagging this one to propose for years now.'
'She's a very pretty woman, I'd put a ring on that finger if I was you.'
'Did you hear her honey? She thinks that you should give me the ring.'
'I'd much rather give you the finger right now if I'm being honest with you.'
I laugh as I gently swat his shoulder, 'He's such a joker, he loves me really.'
'I'll go out into the hall so that you two have time to discuss.' She says softly before leaving the apartment.
Oliver quickly steps out of my grip, 'Why the fuck would you do that?'
I laugh that hard my stomach begins to hurt, 'Come on, it was funny.'
