Chapter: Don't you approve?

SUNGHOON's POV:

I had been bursting to share the news with my friends. I couldn't keep my excitement contained any longer. I had gathered my friends, at the local cafe, where we often met after school.

As the group sipped on our drinks, I  couldn't help but grin. "I've got some big news, guys. You won't believe what's been happening in my life lately."

Jake leaned forward, his eyes twinkling with curiosity. "Come on, tell us Sunghoon! You look like you're about to burst."

Taking a deep breath, I began, kinda scared "you know minkyu? From the group of new boys? So recently we've been seeing eachother, and we've really hit off" He watched his friends' reactions carefully.

Sunoo and Jake exchanged delighted glances, and Yejin clapped her hands in excitement. "That's fantastic, Sunghoon! Tell us more about him."

I couldn't contain his joy as ispoke about Minkyu, my eyes alight with love and passion. I told them about their secret meetings, the stolen kisses, and how Minkyu had opened up about his life in the mafia. My friends listened attentively, nodding in approval.

However, I noticed Jungwon's silence and the tense expression on his face. I had expected him to be just as excited as the others, but something was off.

"Jungwon, what do you think?" I  asked, trying to gauge his friend's reaction.

Jungwon's gaze remained fixed on his coffee. He finally sighed and looked up, "Sunghoon, I'm not so sure about this."

My smile wavered. "What do you mean?"

Jungwon hesitated, choosing his words carefully. "It's just... I don't think this is a good idea. You don't know everything about him, Sunghoon."

I felt a pang of frustration. I had expected support from my friends, not this skepticism from Jungwon. "What are you talking about, Jungwon? Minkyu is an amazing person."

Jungwon averted his eyes, his voice barely a whisper. "Trust me, Sunghoon, there are things you don't know."

MINKYU's POV:

While Sunghoon was sharing his big news with his friends, I was on a high-stakes mission for the mafia. I had to break into a rival gang's headquarters and retrieve valuable information.

Silently, I scaled the walls of the abandoned warehouse, moving like a shadow. The adrenaline coursed through my veins as I picked locks and avoided security cameras. I was a seasoned operative, but this mission was especially risky.

Inside, i located the office where the information was rumored to be stored. My fingers flew over the keyboard as I bypassed digital security systems. Beads of sweat formed on my forehead as I downloaded the encrypted files.

Just as I was about to make my exit,I heard a very faint noise. My heart pounded fast as Imrealized someone else was in the room. My turned to find a shadowy figure, gun in hand.

My training kicked in, and inmoved with lightning speed, disarming the intruder. They struggled for control, but I as always emerged victorious. As I looked down at the subdued figure, my stomach dropped. It was someone i had recognized, a former ally who had switched sides.

Breathing heavily, I knew i had to make a difficult choice. I couldn't let this person go, not when they knew my face. But I also knew this would set off a chain of events that could jeopardize my newfound love with Sunghoon.
