Synopsis
In the outer banks, you were either born a kook or a pogue and by usual standards you grew up to be the exact same thing as your parents, yet Juliet Cameron who's always followed the rules and done what her father said has secretly been breaking them all behind his back.
Where if she went to a party, she would secretly drink alcohol behind her boyfriend who she'd destined to be married to's back because if he saw her do it, he wouldn't let her.
Then there was the fact that anytime her car got broken, she wouldn't ask her dad about it or her brother or boyfriend, she would contact the Maybank boy and ask him to fix it for her, which since she paid more then your average person he gladly did it for and unlike with some wouldn't steal in the process and choose to do his reckless behavior in flirting with the kook princess instead, which never really went anywhere but he loved to try.
Because the thing was before she knew it, her life would be over and she'd be living somebody else's, a shell of herself, where she'd be married still living on figure eight and drinking alcohol to feel something in her life cause her husband and kids aren't gonna do it for her.
But it seemed this summer is coming with all sorts of surprises, seeing as a pogue from the cut, one John B Routeledge who she always found herself watching when he wasn't looking was about to make many appearances in her life more so then he did when he was just her dads helper.
Where two unlikely foes who you would never see getting along before or even interacting are about to realize that they like each other for who they really are more then what they let everyone see.
Yet, their feuding lives might try to pull them apart yet just like in the story, Juliet was truly nothing without her Romeo and this Juliet is just the same.
