Chapter 3: Everlie

(Chappie 3!!)

Everlie sat on the wooden bench, the coolness of the polished wood seeping through her thin shorts. She watched Calla and Jackie, race each other across the gym. Jackie was in the lead, her long legs propelling her forward with ease. Calla was close behind, her small frame working hard to keep up. Everlie was amazed at how fast they were running.

As they approached the other side of the gym, Calla pushed herself harder, her body tense with effort. She surged past Jackie, her long brown hair flying behind her. Calla ran faster and faster until she reached the other side of the gym, her chest heaving with exertion. She put her hands on her knees and bent over, gasping for breath.

Everlie and some other kids in the gym class clapped and cheered, congratulating Calla on her victory. The sound echoed off the walls of the gym, filling the space with excitement and energy. Everlie felt a sense of pride for her friend, who had worked so hard to achieve such an impressive feat.

Everlie and Calla finished their gym class and walked towards the cafeteria where they arranged to meet up with Oralie and Carl. As they walked, they chatted about how difficult the gym class had been. Upon reaching the cafeteria, they found their friends and decided to grab some food. As they were looking for a place to sit, they saw Kenric sitting at a table with his friends. Everlie and Calla decided to join Kenric and his friends.

While they were eating, Everlie sat down next to Dawn, and Calla sat next to her. Dawn started complaining about her Science partner, Mia, and how she never does anything. Kenric responded by saying that he and Neeks were partners, and they were doing great. Niko, who was also at the table, rolled his eyes and decided to leave, saying that he was going to his next class.

After Niko left, Dawn asked Everlie how her day was going. Everlie replied that it was going okay. Just then, Jace approached the table and asked Kenric if he knew where Daniel was. Kenric replied that he hadn't seen him around.

After lunch, Everlie headed to her next class, Mesmer training, which she had with her grandad, Grady. She was looking forward to the class as it was always interesting to learn new things from her grandad. As she knocked on the door, Grady welcomed her in. Everlie greeted him, took a seat at the front of the classroom, and waited for the class to start. Grady began the lesson. Everlie sat up straight and focused on the teacher, knowing that it was going to be a long day.
