Chappie 7

I JUST REALISED I NEVER DID CALLA-

Anyways, on with the chappie! ( Sorry for not updating I've been busy!)

Calla was excitedly preparing for a get-together with her closest friends, Everlie, Oralie, Dawn, Kenric, Niko, and Kaya. She was putting on her favourite outfit, a soft purple dress with matching flats, and carefully styling her hair. As she was finishing up, she heard a knock on her door. "Calla, it's almost time to go!" her mom Biana called out. "I'm coming, give me one sec!" Calla replied, quickly checking herself in the mirror. 

She made her way downstairs, and as she reached the bottom of the stairs, she saw Carl, Dex, and Biana waiting for her. Dex, her dad, was grinning from ear to ear. "Wow, you look stunning!" he exclaimed. Biana, her mom, chuckled and added, "Of course, she does! She's my daughter after all!" 

Calla smiled at the compliment and felt a warm sense of happiness knowing her loved ones were there to support her. She joined them, feeling grateful for the wonderful people in her life.

As they arrived at the Shinerise, Calla's eyes caught sight of Kenric and Niko standing in the garden, shouting at each other. She exchanged a worried glance with Carl before they made their way inside. As soon as they entered the house, Calla ran towards Everlie, who stood in the living room. However, Everlie seemed distant and shrugged her off, only greeting her with a cold "Hi". Not wanting to dwell on the awkwardness, Calla suggested watching a movie to lighten the mood. Everlie's face brightened up at the idea, and she decided to invite Oralie, Kenric, Niko, and Carl to join them. Everlie ran off to find the other guests while Calla followed Carl towards the couch, hoping the movie would distract her from the tension in the air.

As the movie Mulan was playing, everyone in the house gathered in the living room to enjoy the film. Sophie had called everyone for dinner. Dawn, Kaya, Kiara, Jace, Mia, and Daniel had all joined as well. Dawn and Kaya sat with Calla and the others, while Kiara and Mia fought somewhere and Jace was probably trying to stop the fight.Suddenly, a piercing scream and the sound of glass shattering filled the air. Everyone jolted upright, except for Niko, Kenric, and Dawn, who were all sound asleep in a pile of blankets and pillows. Calla, who was closest to the stairs, quickly made her way downstairs to investigate the noise.

She was met with a shocking sight. Biana, Sophie, and Keefe were lying on the floor, seemingly unconscious. A shadowy figure appeared, and Tam bravely stepped forward to protect Linh, who had scowled and moved away.

In a matter of seconds, Dawn came rushing down the stairs, followed by Niko and Kenric, both still half-asleep and confused. "Um, hello?" Dex asked cautiously as he arrived on the scene. Sophie, who had regained consciousness, stared at the figure in the shadows with disbelief. "Umber," she whispered, recognizing the shadowy figure as someone she knew. After watching Mulan for a while, Sophie called everyone for dinner. Dawn, Kaya, Kiara, Jace, Mia, and Daniel had all joined as well. Dawn and Kaya sat with Calla and the others, while Kiara and Mia fought somewhere and Jace was probably trying to stop the fight. Suddenly, Calla heard a scream and glass shattering. Everyone got up, except Niko, Kenric, and Dawn, who were all sleeping in a pile of blankets and pillows. Calla rushed downstairs and saw Biana, Sophie, and Keefe lying on the floor.
