Chapter 11: Oralie

Sorry, this took so long to come out T.T! I'll try to make this one really long.

Oralie was lying comfortably on her bed, gazing up at the grand chandelier that hung elegantly from the ceiling. The sounds of laughter echoed through the hallway, emanating from Kenric's room. However, her peaceful moment was interrupted by a knock on her door. "What?!" she exclaimed, slightly annoyed by the intrusion. "Can I come in?" It was Niko on the other side of the door. With a hint of hesitation, she replied, "Um, sure?" Wondering what he wanted, she let out a sigh as he walked in and made his way towards the closet. "Why?" she asked, curious about his sudden appearance. "We're playing hide and seek," he replied nonchalantly, flashing a mischievous grin. He opened the closet door and, looking at his petite frame, asked, "Do you think I'll fit in there?" "Probably," Oralie responded with a chuckle, amused by the unexpected turn of events.

Oralie had been waiting for a while when Kenric suddenly flung open the door to her room. When he walked in, he looked at her with a grin on his face and asked, "Where is he?" She rolled her eyes and replied, "How am I supposed to know?" Kenric continued to grin and said, "He's nowhere else!" 

She let out a sigh and smiled in response. "He's in the closet," she said, pointing towards her closet. Niko, who had been hiding in the closet, opened the door and stepped out, glaring at her. "I hate you," he said. She giggled and shrugged, "Oops?" teasingly. 

Realizing that he had been caught, Niko made his way out of the room, looking annoyed. She turned her attention back to Kenric and said, "Well, get out! I have homework to do!" She shooed them out of her bedroom, happy to finally have some peace to focus on her work.

Oralie had a lot of Alchemy homework to do and couldn't afford any distractions, especially from boys barging into her room. She let out a sigh and walked over to her desk to get the worksheet that Lady Ash had assigned to her. It turned out to be super easy, and Oralie finished it in no time. This was good news because now she could go find Everlie and do something to keep her mind off Carl. But wait, did she just think about him? Oralie groaned, reminding herself that it wasn't the time to think about Carl, with his dreamy periwinkle eyes. Oh, Carl.......
