Chapter 8

Author 

It's been a quite a while  since Zade and eloise ś wedding . They could not go to honeymoon  because of some emergency work in Zade ś business . Eloise did not mind it at all . On the other hand the apartment was slowly growing on her well now she didnot had to worry about making ends meet , her drunk father , or  her rebellious teen sister and  cherry on top she has became very good friends with Lilian too . Zade is always busy at work going early and returning up late , Eloise finds it as a perfect time to complete her education , and finally get her art degree which she couldn't due to financial problems . What's best is that Zoe and Lilian  and eloise always have sleepovers  , it's like reliving their childhood back .

Eloise 

" you need to come to the fundraiser party today " i yelped  as the milk splashed everywhere and turned to see Zade standing at the doorway , Zade is usually gone  by this time , when I have my morning coffee 

"Uh like today .? " I wiped the drip of milk from my face 

" you don't need to  worry about the dress Lilian is handling them all"- at that very moment  Lilian  entered into the room with a billions of shopping bags with her . Hi ! She tried to wave her hand at me what with the number of bags she was holding it was impossible , she looked like a cartoon character , I giggled and rushed towards her to help her with the bags .

" uncle Zade !!!!" Rushed the twins towards Zade as they cling at him like monkeys , Zade ruffled their pigtails and swiftly held them into arms life they weighted nothing , the two girls were happy to be in their fun uncle's arm as they told him about various things of imagination and Zade intently listened to what they said , interjection her and there  . Ummm.. it was cute .I mean I never saw my father interact to us like that always drunk , always belittling us . Zadeś  eyes shone with love , his dimples popped here and there as he smiled at them and peppered kisses on their nose  make them burst into laughter, it was a site to see,  so peaceful.  

" I think I need to tell mom to  knit those baby socks again " Lilian smirked  my eyes quickly widen as I slowly understood what she meant  and I tried to force her enter the living room while Zade hastily put the twins down and kissed their cheek and ran away as someone has lit a fire on his ass .

And the Lilian was fucking laughing  with her head  thrown back .

Few hours later 

"What about this dress " Lilian pulled out a straps dress

" no too revealing " I refused quickly 

"What about this " I picked up a floral dress 

" Jesus Eloise you are going to a fund raiser party not what would you wear in the retirement home " Zoe  facepalmed .

"How about this one ?"lilian pointed over the sort dress

" yes Eloise this dress will look fire on you " Zoe agreed 

" the skirt is too short " I chew on my lips 

Ding Dong 

We looked surprised at each other , at this hour we were not expecting anybody , I quickly stood up and looked out the peephole , a delivery guy 

" hello miss , this a parcel for mrs hawthrone "

 I quickly signed on  the on the sheet "thank you "as I closed the door 

A parcel from zade ? For me?

"Who came just now " Lilian shouted from the living room 

" a parcel from zade , I don't know " I shrugged my shoulder ,as I opened the package , there was the beautiful dress I have ever laid my eyes on .

" wear this one Eloise  "

 The dress was perfect ,  the black velvet fabric felt like I was staring at a night sky , it was not super revealing or looked like something from grandma closet , it was perfect , the fabric felt smooth and soft under my hands 

" you look so pretty " Lilian  praised me 

"Big sis you will give our fragile aunt Lou a heart attack " Zoe stated as she fake pouted and I snorted in response . Sorry auntie Lou my  dress don't show any of my milk jugs to attract A man . What was more funny was the look on lilian ś face  her shocked expression of us making fun of our aunt was iconic , she is a good student she will learn the inside jokes soon .

And then it was time for makeup , After bloody 3 hours later my makeup and hair was done ,thanks to them I looked like a baby doll . Our timings were perfect because the main door opened and Zade entered . He stopped at the door . 

" So how is she looking , big brother ?"  Lilian ś  hand straightened my pearls 

I could feel his eyes on me as he scanned me toe to head  , a foreign feeling took over me as I  suddenly felt shy  and blushy , and  could not raise my eyes to look at him  .

"Perfect , thank you lily and zoey for helping her  ,  but please excuse us as it's time to go " zade then walked behind me placing his hand  behind my back  , I felt shivers down my spine as we started to move out  , I took a last glance at my girls  As I felt a sudden urge to  change the plans and wanted to  say fuck party and watch movie with the girls in soft pajamas .

The last thing  I saw as i  left from the apartment was  Lilian raising  two thumbs at me and Zoe  shouted remember it and then winked . (What Zoe wanted me to remember was to find cute boys at the party )

And I am fucking scared to go to the party to say the least .
