Chapter 13

  I looked at the mirror , at those purple spots littering on my neck , I called Erin for solutions and that bitch told me to " flaunt them " geez I don't know how I am even friends with her at first place . My eyes keep going on this spots , I don't know I look at them and I get a tingly feeling , and warmth pool in my stomach as I think of zadeś lips on my skin . Wait what in the fucking fuck I am even fucking thinking.

We don't like zade . We fucking hate zade .

" what are you looking in the mirror ?" zade smirked .

"My fucking beauty " I snapped as I placed my scarf around my neck .

We are going to visit zadeś parents , yes we are going to visit zadeś parent I know I am not drunk or doing any drugs , I though a change of scenery would be nice ,  for a while I would be able to get away from the clutches of my drunken father , my college and well that fucking ceramic bitch .

As we board the train thought made  my stomach churn , I looked out of the window hoping the countryside background  will calm me down 

 " Eloise stop touching worrying " as he held my hand to stop me from picking my skin .

" I am just nervous "  I whispered  "  I don't know anybody except Liliana , do you guys have a no no topic ? , what if I offend your family.? , what if they don't like me ? O my gosh we should not go "

" eloise , it will be fine " he clasped his hands around mine "  I will be there  for you Eloise "

 We spent the entire two hours taking and knowing about zadeś family , Beth and George , are now a lord Krishna devotees ,   Beth once got a dream about little lord Krishna playing flute surrounded  be the cows and peacock , apparently it was so enchanting that , Beth and George  slowly became a member of ISKCON.

" this is the perfect  timing to go visit my family "he smiled " tomorrow is lord Krishna ś birthday , it would be a new expirence for you "

 Before we could realise it was already time , we have reached zade ś hometown Wiscount .

 After a  10 min taxi ride , we reached a big lavish modern house ,  , zade squeezed my hand for a last time and knocked on the door 

"Mom "

 " oh my god zade you are here " a  women in her 50 s game rushing she hugged and kissed his cheeks " I am so happy that you are here , George look zade is here "

And then her eyes feel on me " oh silly  me " she came towards me and raised my chin " how can I forget about my beautiful daughter in law , zade she is so pretty , that's why you were hiding her  away from us "

She caught me off guard as she hugged me " welcome home  Eloise , it's so nice to meet you  , let's go inside  and talk , I am sometimes so lonely here " within a few minutes I felt I have been knowing this place since  I was born , George and Beth made sure I felt like home .

" Eloise dear  is this comfortable enough ?"

" mrs Hawthorne it is completely fine , you don't need to fuss about me so much " I assure her 

" mrs Hawthorne , call me Beth dear we are family , okay Eloise I won't bug you anymore take some rest the journey must be tiring , I will call you at the dinner time . Okay honey  "

" hi "

" Lilian ! I dozed off , when did you came here ? "

" it's a long journey from Huston , 10 minutes before , the main question is do you like here ,  " as she sat next to me in the bed 

Thinking how Beth and George treat me today , my eyes  brimmed with tears 

" did someone offend you " Lilian in a snap of seconds became serious 

I shook my head no "  Beth and George are so kind and warm " I smiled to myself         " my mom dies just after giving birth to Zoe and my dad " as I rubbed the wet tears off my checks did not knew I was crying " always drunk , aunt Lou raised me and my sister  but most of the time it was Zoe and me , alone in the big house , cold and hungry , I don't remember when was the last time we said ' I love you' " I air quoted " we always lived in the fear  when from those damn peas we would have nothing to eat " 

Lilian wrapped her arms around me " they are now your  parents  too  " she   Smiled truthfully at me " and you have me and zade too " 

" sorry I made the atmosphere so sad , no more crying " as I wipe of rest of the tears with the back of my hand " tell me ,  about grace "   I am starting to think  about telling zade about  grace ś messages .

" grace ? Well grace ś grandfather MR Edward Brune were partners with our grandfather Louise hawthrone  , we have been partnering with them atleast more than 8 decades , grace took over the company after her father like zade did , why do you ask ."

"Dinner is ready come down kids "  Beth yelled from downstairs as the wafting smell of delicious food reached our noses .

" you get going I will freshen up in a second and Join you "  

I chewed on my lips , this isn't a right time to tell zade about Gracie right  ,they are company partners , for a petty issue like this , I don't want to ruin their partnership .

As I reached to the dining room I could hear them talking , zade friends must have come over too , mr dylan wang and his daughterś nanny  Kim Dan , mr Francis victoro   . And then my eyes fell on 

Grace . For fuckś sake 

As they saw me we exchanged pleasantries , the kids have already gone to sleep , we clinked and clanked our our glasses , and had the tasties meal I ever had ,wish I could food like this for us at home .  Wait at not OUR HOME  at zade ś penthouse and only for me .

" I will help you taking these things to the kitchen Beth  "

" you are guest at my house , honey how can I make you work "

" you said I am your daughter , so let me help my mother " Lilian had to go upstairs as her girls started crying  , and the guys went outdoors to prep for us so we can watch stars and eat s'mores , I can't leave poor Beth alone to clean up the table  , I picked up  the last glasses on the table  

" enjoying here too much huh ?"

I turned around finding grace leaned on the wall

" what do you want  now , I don't want to infect my eyes by looking at you  " 

 she swirled her wine and took a sip  "zade is mine "
