In two years

KEIGO POV

The next two years were quite difficult. The training was demanding, both mentally and physically.

Today was the last day of exams. Today will decide my future.

After I got out of the morning shower, I got dressed and entered the room. Touya was still asleep. He was turned upside down so I could see his scarred back. He never showed his scars much. I only saw them a few times in all that time. Yesterday he probably came so tired from the evening training that he just took off his shirt and fell into bed. He even had his sweatpants on for training. His scars were large and I'm sure they were painful as well. Although we are not as close as before, but, I still worry about him.

" What are you looking at Keigo" I blink a few times and our eyes meet. Without any response I turn my back on him and leave the room.

" Good morning Hawks" as soon as I close the door I hear a girl's voice.

" Morning Miyu" I smile at her and we walk down the hall together. Miyu is in the same year as me and Toya. She is taller than me, actually when I think about it she is about the same height as Touya. She has short black hair and turquoise green eyes. Her olive skin glistens in the lamplight as does the red necklace she never takes off. We became friends about three years ago and she is a very nice girl. She has a quirk of manipulating the weight of any object which is quite interesting. Sometimes she can do it properly take advantage of.

" Today is a big day, you're ready," she squeals excitedly, and I'm surprised she didn't jump into the air. How can she be so excited? I've been knocking since morning and I feel like I've already sweated out all the water my body contains.

"Nervous," I add quietly. She just laughs and nudges me with her shoulder.

"You don't have to be. You are the best of us. I even heard that Endevarov himself became interested in you. Legendary hero number two" when she mentioned his name I immediately thought of Touya and our big fight that happened about two weeks ago. "Funny how he's more interested in you than Touya. It just proves that you're better than.. ." I interrupted her.

"Don't say that. Touya is strong, only limited" after my words she immediately ended this debate and started a new one. That's what I liked about her. That when a person told her enough, she simply stopped digging and respected it.

While we were sitting in the dining room and having breakfast together, another person joined us. When I saw the reflection of white hair, I was happy it was Touya, but I was wrong. Just Goku. He sat down next to me in silence and ate in the silence. He was obviously training his quirk which could suspend sound waves, amplify them or weaken them. I was disappointed that Toya didn't show up. Inconspicuously, I glanced around the room a few times, but I didn't see him anywhere. He probably stayed in the room. God I keep thinking about him, I can't get him out of my head.

" You're looking for Touya, are you?" Goku said next to me.

" You should let him out of your head, he's a jerk," added Miyu and rested her head on her palm. Her big eyelashes blinked at me.

" He's not a jerk, he's just broken"

" That's all of us" Goku muttered. I sighed and leaned my head against the wall behind me.

" You still can't get him out of your head, maybe you should tell him how you feel"

" Miyu, first of all, I don't even know what sexuality he is, but I have the feeling that his straight, and secondly, I don't like him," I add and put the last piece of breakfast in my mouth.

,, You like him"

"I'm leaving" I frown, take the tray with food and quietly leave the dining room.

On the way to the room, I passed by the training room from which shots were heard. That's why I opened the door and peeked inside.

The first thing I registered was Touya who was standing in a fighting stance and his whole body was blazing like a night torch. Opposite him stood a boy with water whose upper part of his clothes had been burnt. And in the corner of the room was a table behind which sat a three-member committee. Both boys fought well. They were fast, agile and used their heads. Tou has always been good at that. Thinking in battle. I couldn't really see anything because there was blue fire and water everywhere. It was a picture of chaos. But suddenly the fire disappeared. At that moment I saw Touya standing and falling to his knees clutching his hands. So far, he hasn't even uttered a sound. I wanted to run to him, take him in a hug, tell him that everything will be fine. That he too can be a hero, but my feet didn't move.

" Fight with me" he said so quietly that I could barely hear him.

" But, you're hurt. Seriously injured" the boy scowled at him. "I won't fight someone who is seriously injured"

" Then consider me a villain!" Touya roared and attacked him. The boy created a shield but he did not return the attack, he just dodged his attack. "Fight me", Toya repeated over and over again.

" THAT'S ENOUGH" Sensei snapped, to which they both stopped within a second. " We'll give you the results by Sunday. For now, go say goodbye and pack. You have two days. And you, Touya, go to the infirmary" Touya frowned at his words and left to the door in my direction. God forbid he finds out that I stalked him. The corridor was too long and I didn't have time to run down it and go around the corner. So I took off and stuck to the wall above. I put the wings of the to body and supported myself with hands and feet. God I feel like an idiot. When the door opened and I saw a white head, I stopped breathing.

Touya stood there for a while, but finally just cursed and left. Thank goodness
