"Wait" I say and sit down. "Fuck" I clench my teeth and grab my head.
"Are you dumb or not! You can't do this!" he shouts at me and pushes me back with his hand. It's only now that I realize that I have something soft under my head. What is it? I look again at the disheveled man and realize that he's only wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt, pants and shoes He put his jacket under my head, how sweet.
"Please don't call an ambulance, I hate doctors"
"So what should I do with you? What if you die"
"Me and die? I'm a hero if you haven't noticed" I laughed and closed my eyes. I can't take it anymore.
"Yeah, I saw," he muttered.
,, HEY! I was tired"
"I also don't drive when I'm tired, and you shouldn't fly either" God, what kind of guy is this. He's still going to give me advice on what I should and shouldn't do. Shit.. I really should have stayed at Rumi's drinking whiskey and eating ice cream.
"Will you help me get up?" I ask him. "Please" I add.
The man just sighs and approaches me, carefully puts me on my feet and puts his arm around my shoulders to hold me better.
"Shall I sit you on the bench?" He asks.
"Yeah" I say to which we walk a few steps and the man carefully rolls me onto the bench. I gently open my eyes but still see blurry. "Who are you?" I'll ask.
"Your hero" laughs and crouches down between my straddled legs while resting both hands on my knees with his elbows. God what are you doing, don't do this to me. This position reminds me of things. He also obviously realizes what position he is in and so he stands up and crosses his arms over his chest. I'm still watching him. I mean, just his snot.
"I probably want a lot from you, but I live nearby. Would you take me there" I say.
"I'm not a hero" he laughs. God his laugh is so pleasant to the ears. But at the same time he's so familiar. I wish I could see him, I have a weakness for white-haired men.
"For today, you are" I grin.
...
"Not even an hour ago you fell from a height of several meters, but you still talk a lot," he mutters under his breath and continues walking.
"Hey! I don't talk to much, what everyone has to do with it"
"How much more?" he asks boredly.
"According to my blurred vision, about 10 minutes" I say and imagine the route in my head.
"I hope your eyesight will be fine," he says after a while into the silence.
"Me too, I want to see who saved my life," the mysterious man just blew his breath and continued walking. He was really strong, he had been dragging me for several minutes and didn't take a single break. And according to his body structure, I guess he is athletic. Fitness trainer? Soldier? Policeman? Hero? Not a hero, no. I know everyone like that, I would definitely remember him. If not from the bed, then just from the summer look and voice. Moreover, he knew medicine. He was able to give me first aid and knew how to maintain in what situation.
"Are you a soldier?" I asked completely without thinking.
"What? Are you really thinking about my profession?" I didn't even have to see him and I knew he smiled. "I'm not a soldier" he added.
"Hmm, you could be a great hero" after this sentence, he slightly froze but continued walking. He didn't want to show it, but I exposed him. But my exposure was disgusting.
"I'm anything but not a hero" he said quietly and stopped. "We're already here" oh, already? It is a pity.
"Will you go upstairs?" I grinned at him and turned my head towards him.
"Will you invite me to your place? You don't even know my name" he wondered and entered the huge skyscraper in which I had an apartment. I immediately heard the voice of the receptionist who shouted my name and ran towards us.
"Hawks what happened to you!?"
"Should I take it as no?" I laughed. He handed me over to the doorman and a security guard. At that moment, I opened my eyes again and stared at him. He was just as blurry. He just glowed more under the light. Like an angel.
"I have to go home to see my wife," he added
"WHAT!?" I shouted
"Just kidding, just kidding. But I have some responsibilities. Maybe another time, Hawks" he laughed and turned to the receptionist.
"He fell during the flight. He doesn't look too hurt. I did not register any fractures. Maybe just some broken rib. Just a minor mesencephalon concussion that damaged his vision but he should be fine in the morning," he said and turned around.
"Wait!" he stopped.
"At least give me a number if not a name"
After giving me his number, he put on his white coat and left in the dark.
This man intrigued me enough that I couldn't sleep at night. And the fact that I didn't see his face and didn't know his name ate me up even more.
