Prompt: Does the world need words?

The world doesn't need words,
for the winds glide through the falling leaves
and across the oceans that ebb and flow and wave hello.
The world doesn't need words,
for the birds fill the quiet hours of dawn with singsong,
and who needs words to understand that beauty?
The world doesn't need words,
for oftentimes I find myself at a loss for them,
and I know more of the earth
than I do of the tongue.
