lia and ella head to class when lia suddenly stops as she sees someone. "there is no way" she exclaims before running up to that person. they hug while ella stands there in confusion.

lia comes back as the person she just hugged walked off to the other direction.

"that was sarah, you remember?" lia asks and ella nods.

"she went to new zealand, right?"

"mhm" lia hums.

ella furrows her eyebrows. "why didn't she say hi to me?"

lia just shrugs. "maybe didn't see you but she's throwing a party this weekend. like a comeback party."

"you're invited?" ella asks as she's so confused.

"yea, should i ask if you can come too?"

ella thinks for a moment. she doesn't want to make it seem like she's inviting herself. "yea sure"

later that day ella realizes the entire sarah situation is still on her mind even though she has told her self to not care about a billion times. sarah and her have never been best friends but they also weren't strangers. they share the same friends but for some reason she just can't get through to her. later in the hall they all had a chat in a small group and whenever ella talked, it just seemed like sarah was not even listening. it felt like she wasn't even there. is there something in the air? but what could it be since they have barely talked. there is no logical reason for sarah to be so distant. ella is trying to process the fact that not everybody has to like her and she doesn't have to like everybody and that it's probably nothing personal. we all have that person we just don't vibe with. having no specific reason.

another realization hits ella. the triplets are on their way to boston. not just for a few days. they're staying. her best friends are back. and chris. two of the triplets and a stranger.

"you know what i've been thinking about lately?" ella starts, currently hanging out with lia and their school friend lu at her house.

they all nod waiting for what's to come.

"pigs probably have never seen the sky." she waits for any sort of reaction from them.

lia just shakes her head. "bro"

"that's so valid actually." lu exclaims.

"right? like physically how are they looking up?"

"ella please shut the fuck up" lia stands behind ella covering her mouth with her hand.

"oh my god you know what that just reminded of" lu blurts out. ella grabs lias wrist and throws it away. "i don't know if y'all watch the triplets but that one video where nick did this to chris and he went fucking lunatic. yeah i had to think of that and speaking of them, when are they coming back?"

"tomorrow" ella mumbles. she doesn't know what lu is talking about. she doesn't watch their videos even though she really wants to. maybe one day she'll be able to watch it and won't feel like smashing her head against the wall.
