Jisung woke up with heart hammering his chest. He still couldn't believe what he saw, what he was feeling. So, with chapped lips, he got up and walked out of his room. Getting a glass of refreshing water was just a reason behind other reasons. He needed a new environment to wash away his shivering back bones.

In the kitchen, he found Bang Chan was on the phone. The look of his oldest band member was worse than himself. With deeper frown and wider under eye bags than his, his Hyung gave him a scary vibe. He shook a little after heard some reassuring sentences which were the opposite of the frightening face.

When he reached the fridge, a hand took the water bottle in front of him. Jisung saw the bad mood Changbin, downing the water in one big gulp. Sourness on his expression. This other Hyung might wake up on the wrong side.

Jisung took another bottle then walked to the couch. Hyunjin was there, bitting on his thumb's nail. The agitation was clearly seen on the tall boy's body. Tapping foot, trembling hand, and vibrating empty gaze, gave a strong sign.

Jisung felt something was wrong with him, with them. A pain was knocking on his head, but it's unrecognisable. The dulled sharp jab left him restless.

On the other place not far from Jisung, Seungmin was trying to calm his breath. His counting had already reached thirty, but his mind decided to act differently. He leaned to his room's door frame, looking out to his strange subordinates.

Jongin was out on the balcony, gazing into nothingness with hand caressing some of the potted plants' leaf. Seungmin couldn't see the youngest's face, but he could see that up and down shoulders as an indicator. Jongin was crying.

The potted plants' owner was in the kitchen. Minho aimlessly opened the cupboards before closed them back. The oldest out of them was trying to find a distraction and Seungmin chose to join whatever activity he could do to get rid of his uneasy feeling.

Went to the kitchen, Seungmin walked across the whining Yongbok on the couch, pressing phone tightly to the ear. The English language he heard wasn't that otherworldly, but Yongbok's anger and sadness invoked a strong accent that a little difficult to be understood. He only could patted that solid but frail shoulder before continuing his venture to the kitchen.

"Can I help?" He threw the question to the detached Minho.

"Hm? It's okay. I can do this myself."

Seungmin peeked over Minho's shoulder, finding a screen full of instructions. He mustered a determined tone and asked again. "Please."

The older looked at him with confusion. He could see lightnings on Minho eyes before it becomes soften. "Alright." He took the tablet from Minho's stretched out hand. "Tell Yongbok first to gather the others here in two hours."

"Okay." Seungmin pivoted to the living room. "Hey, Yongbok."

After a couple of hours, everyone came to the dorm. Sat on the floor, they were circling the combined tables which was full of dishes. Some of them ordered takeouts and filled up any vacant spaces, making the wooden furniture completely covered up.

"Magnae." Bang Chan called out the soulless Jongin.

With forced smirk, Jongin filled up his bowl and started to eat up. He held his breath as he munching on the egg roll. No appetite made him pulled more muscles to swallow it whole. "It's delicious. Thanks, Hyung."

The chef only gave him a knowing nod. "Eat up, guys."

With the simple words from Minho, everyone moved their limbs and lifted their utensils. Their chomps and bites followed, even with sighs and sniffles. Some of them were clearing their throats so often, drowning the threatening cries from coming out. The eight of them didn't understand what was going on. They would finally find out the truth years after.

More than five thousand kilometres south ways of them, Nammie was smiling on the way to hospital. Her sea water soaked clothes sent her shivers, but her heart was warm. The warmest she ever felt. "Thanks, guys," she whispered as she closed her eyes, letting the loud siren's sound lulled her to sleep.
