September 22nd, 2023 - Embrace

I found comfort in pillows and stuffed animals. I found what I need in their fluffy selves. Not warm or cold. They just right to support the aching back.

They welcome me, always, no doubt, no judge, no question, no reason, no deny, and no complaint. They have always given me the best hug. They will never betrayed my needs of them.

I found comfort in blankets and comforters. I found what I need in their wide spreads. Not empty or suffocating. They just right to fill the gap.

They company me, always, no doubt, no judge, no question, no reason, no deny, and no complaint. They have always shielded me with the best protection. They will never betrayed my needs of them.

I found comfort in hugs. I found what I need in people. But I found that comfort just for a short time, and people have their own lifes to maintain. They sometimes too warm or too cold, sometimes too empty or too suffocating. For mere support and gap filler, it took too much things to compromise.

So I welcome the existence of pillows and stuffed animals, companions of blankets and comforters. I got no doubt, no judge, no question, no reason, no deny, and no complaint. No betrayal between us.
