June 27th, 2023 - Best Friend

"It's nothing," I said, without looked up from what I was doing on the table. "Really," emphasized it with a roll on my eyes.

"No, you are not!" He looked so exasperated

"I am! Why don't you believe me?"

"Suit you right." He went out of my room.

"Could you tell me what are we doing here?" We were standing in front of a luxurious house.

"Seeing your boyfriend. What else?" He said nonchalantly

"And what was that for?" I felt folds on my brows.

"Helping you cleaning up your mess."

"Thank you. I hope it works." I didn't know how many rolled eyes I did today anymore.

"What do you want?" That boy didn't even open his door when we were standing outside in a cold weather talking to a box.

"Let's get out of here."

"Wait, wait, wait." He hold my wrist. "Hi Prince, would you show me your face. I'm not going to talk to a robot over this."

"Just speak." His voice was just as flat as newly laid asphalt.

"You kid! Get out of here or I will barge in!" He pointed his finger at the box.

"He's getting mad. Oh God." I said sarcastically.

"Just try." Two words and the line being cut.

"See? Now what we do?"

"Is he always like this." His eyes were twitching.

"As long as I know."

"Your luck with bad boys."

I rolled my eyes. Again. "As I said, now what we do?"

"I don't know."

"I want some pizza."

"Yeah," he said not pretty sure. "Junk food is good for anger, I guess."

"And sodas"

"Great."

That afternoon we spent together was full of pizzas, and sodas, and yelling, and cursing. Nothing was better than having a good friend that can be your soulmate, your sister, your brother, your life support, your knight, and your biggest enemy in one body. Who will going to choose your side beside your best friend?
