My feet were still running. The outsoles of my shoes creating echo on the cobbled stone road. The spotlight on the night sky was getting closer. I left the road after the bridge and start stepped on the meadow.

On my peripheral, I could see a roof behind a dense cluster of trees. It's quite high from the ground, I guess it was a two or three stories building. And the beam I was following moved closer to it.

I climbed a hill, an arranged pathway of gravels was seen. But I chose to run between the trees, avoiding any surprises. There I saw someone with red coloured dress walking down from the top. Two bulky men in black suite were trailing on her tail.

I kept on running as stealth as possible but her eyes caught me. As we exchanged gazes, a boom came from the building I run to. A cold shiver attacking my back. My colleagues' faces were crowding my mind. My mouth chanted shield spells for them as my feet bring me closer to their location.

I stepped out from the bushes right beside the building. In front of my eyes, one of my colleagues was on the ground, blood drenched his suits. A long wide cut displayed on his left forearm. The other was hovering above him screaming spells for closing wounds. Both were inside the sphere I sent them minutes ago.

I jumped inside the sphere and kneeled beside the man on the ground. I could see the deep wound exposed his bone. I earned a chuckle from him as I yanked my moonstone medallion from my neck and putted it on his chest.

"I'm good. Just get her back for me." He said it with gritted teeth.

"I'm here. You'll live, moron." I pulled loose the topaz bracelet from my left wrist. "Get your revenge by yourself. And you," I was looking up to the younger. "You're doing good, so now help me to retain the shield." I saw him nodded and stretched his arms up front, beginning to chant protective spells.

"What take you so long? We were almost corpses." I knew he was in immense pain, but his grin had never ceased. My topaz stone was shining brightly as the flesh of his was regenerating.

"Just shut up so I could mend your wound." I tied a long strap of fine silver chain to his healing arm. It should've gotten more than just mending, but with the situation up front, it could wait.

He stood up. His face was looking so much better, but his emotion was out of control. He ripped the blood soaking jacket suit from his body, showing his board shoulder in his drenched black satin shirt. After a flick of his right hand, a blue ray scythe formed.

"You, rascal. Congratulations for ruining my day. My expensive suit now become a rag. So let's see how you will make amend of it." Fire was flickering in his eyes. It's no joke, he was furious.

The entity he talked to was just giggling. Maybe, we were no match for it. It raised its hand and trashed it to the side, whipping away the protection shield.

My young colleague flew from the strong force. I run to the coughing boy. He was okay, a mess but good. I gave him my quartz ring just incase. He complied, moved to the side, and started to call reinforcement.

"It is also no kidding." I mumbled my thought then moved closer to the wrath infused man. "So, any idea, Master Satre?"

He looked at me with petrifying glare. "What else? Kill it on the spot, Lilianne." The Moonstone was dangling from his neck. He called me with a particular nickname, it only meant he was beyond serious. "Now!" He leaped to his target and I run few steps behind him as support. My longsword glowed as I was thrusting it to every spots I saw.

Both of us were panting heavily. Our blood, sweat, and tears mixed with the black goey substance that was dripping from our enemy. We were at a lost, we knew it.
