"Ugh, normal pepole lose books, pencils, and mugs, but i manage to loose an WHOLE DRAGON?!" Said a frustrated boy that looked about 14.
In his hand he has a sketch book, with what looks to have a sketch of the forest that he is right now, he draws a cross on the map and started to scribble in frustration and putting it away
"I will never make the village proud if i can't even find it!" Meanwhile the boy just keeps walking foward "i swear when i find that drag-" suddenly he gaasps, seeing what looked like to be a tree, that now was destroyed
"There it is! This makes it all more easier !" He starts running in that directon, only to find a black scaled dragon stuck in what looked like a rope.
He hides for some seconds to observe if the beast was still alive, seeing as it isn't moving he comes clooser, taking a good look at the dragon "i knew it! I took down this dragon!"
the dragon didn't like it too much, so it sighs making the boy back a bit in surprise "it's- it's still alive" surprised he takes out his knife and point it to the "beast" that now opened his eye.
"I will kill you beast, and then i will bring your heart to my father" he comes closer to the nightfuty, ready to strike, the dragon still looks at him, and then closes it's eyes agin, preparing for his death.
"Why are you-" the boy stopped "i- i need to-" he tries to strike agin, only to fail agin "i cant- i-" he looks at the dragon, and then at the knife "i can't do it" he agin looks at the dragon, its oplessnes reminding him a bit too much of himself
"...i did this" he sigh getting agin closer to the dragon, with the intentuon to start cutting the ropes, suddenly the dragon open it's eyes, now slits and looks at the boy, when free he starts running at the boy pinning him
"Oh Thor-" and then the fury roars right on his face, then moving out of the boy only to sit in front of him, still looking at him.
The poor boy breathes heavly triyng to calm himself from the roar, and then look up at the beast "you- why didn't you-" the dragon still observes every movement the human makes
He gets up, still watching the dragon "you didn't try to kill me, why is that?" He gets closer to the beast, as it gives him a warning growl, but the boy notices something "huh? Toothless? I could have sworn you had teeth" he starts to pull his hand toward the dragons head the dragon, still growling shows his teeth to warn him
"Huh? Retractable teeths? That's new" the boy didn't see the sings, so at the end the nightfury bites now on his arm
The boy screams from surprise and pain, and when the nightfury finaly sees what it did makes a shokked growl, then triyng to fly away, only to end up stuck and leaving the poor scared human to the ground while he was holding his arm
"He..the dragon- the dragon bit me"
-SKIP TIME TO WHEN HICCUPS GETS HOME-
Hiccup's p.o.v. :
I enter my house slowly closing the door with one arm, still hurting from the bite, and triyng hard not to make a sound, then i quikly try to make my way to my room
"Oh Hiccup!" even if i tried to be quick and to not make any sound a certain someone, aka Stoick the Vast, my father saw me
I slowly turn my head toward the voice "yes dad. . .?" I watch him, triyng to cover my harm so he wouldn't notice the dragon bite
"I have to tell you something son"
He said walking over his son
"Oh, yeah i have someting to tell you too-"
"Oh, yes, first you" said Stoick "no.. no.. you go" i said
"L'ets say it at the same time" said the viking, then agin "i decided i want you to kill a dragon" " i decided i don't want to kill a dragon" the two of them said at the same time
"What?" Said a shoked hiccup "i decided to enroll you into dragon training, you will start when I leave"
"Oh...i know i should have gone first- i-" i pause "i can't kill a dragon, dad"
"What do you MEAN you can't kill a dragon?!" My dad starts to get angry
"I- i can't i'm not good enough to do it- i just know i will mess that up too"
The dad sighs, his gaze softening and then gently putting his hand on my shoulder "lissent son.. i know you are worried about not being able to, that's why i put you in that school, so you would finaly be a viking"
"But dad-" i say, only to get interrupted by my dad "i don't want to hear it, you will kill a dragon, and that's it" i sighs, looking down "alright dad..."
"That's my boy!" He puts an hand on his back, patting him "now go to sleep"
General pov:
The boy was fast asleep on his bed, while he was having a weird dream
The dream was what looked like to be a nightfury, similiar to the fury that bit him staring at him, but there was just...something different about what was in front of him he observes the nightfury, and the nightfury observed him, only to wake up after some seconds of doing that
"Oh god- what was that..?" He said looking around "that was a weird dream..."
He sighs "i have to go back there and find that nightfury" said Hiccup
