During the breakfast at the Royal Dining hall, a sudden commotion disrupted the conversation. A maid rushed into the room, holding a crying toddler in her arms. She bowed quickly, apologizing for the interruption.
"Forgive my disturbance, Your Majesties," she said, her voice flustered. "The young prince wouldn't settle. I thought perhaps his mother could help."
Without hesitation, Queen Aurelia extended her arms, and the maid handed the crying toddler to her. The young prince, Sunoo, nestled against his mother, and Queen Aurelia's soothing touch quickly calmed his tears. Her tender care was evident as she rocked him gently. However, he didn't fully settle.
Prince Taehyung, who had been observing the situation with a puzzled expression, turned to Prince Jimin and whispered, "Who is that?"
Jimin turned to his friend with a small smile. "That is Sunoo, my younger brother."
Taehyung's eyes lit up with curiosity and eagerness. "May I... hold him? I can try to settle him."
Aurelia, initially hesitant, observed the genuine interest and care in Taehyung's eyes. She reluctantly agreed and carefully handed Sunoo to the visiting prince.
To everyone's surprise, once in Taehyung's arms, the young prince Sunoo quickly settled down. He curiously examined Taehyung's face, his tears giving way to fascination and a tiny, three-toothed grin.
The Zenith royal family and Jeongguk watched in awe, impressed by the unexpected connection between Taehyung and the toddler.
Even Jeongguk, known for his stoic demeanor, couldn't help but crack a slight smile as he observed Taehyung's natural rapport with his younger brother.
Taehyung, with his ever-present warmth and charisma, played with Sunoo, making silly faces and funny noises. The young prince responded with giggles and laughter, creating a heartwarming and endearing scene.
The moment was a reminder that, in diplomacy, even the smallest interactions could forge bonds and create lasting impressions. It was a beautiful interlude in their breakfast, illustrating the power of genuine connections and shared moments.
Taehyung and Sunoo stayed like that for the remainder of the breakfast. Glued to each other, with Taehyung feeding Sunoo every now and then. Playing along the way.
After a delightful breakfast, the time came for the meal to conclude. Aurelia gently reached out to take Sunoo from Prince Taehyung, but the young prince, who had grown fond of his new friend, let out a little whine and clung tightly to Taehyung, not wanting to be separated.
The entire royal family couldn't help but chuckle at the adorable scene, the sight of the usually composed Sunoo showing such attachment to Taehyung tugging at their hearts.
Jeongguk spoke with a warm smile, "It seems Sunoo has taken quite a liking to you, Lilibet."
Taehyung, touched by the toddler's reaction, beamed. "I've also grown quite fond of you, baby darling." He said to the toddler. Softly tickling his tummy.
He then turned to Queen Aurelia and smiled. "If it's alright with you, Your Majesty. I'd love to spend some more time with him today."
Queen Aurelia, delighted by the connection her son had made with the visiting prince, nodded with gratitude. "That's very kind of you, Lilibet. We'd be honored to have you spend the day with Sunoo."
The agreement brought joy to Sunoo's face as he clapped his tiny hands in excitement. Regardless of the fact that he couldn't understand anything, he just saw his new friend turn to him with a wide smile and somewhat understood that he got to keep the older to himself.
