"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Clint asks from where he sits at the table.
"Oh come on it'll be good for us. We've been a little out of sync," Tony replies, leaning against the counter.
"Sounds like fun," Wanda shrugs. "Three days in the woods with no plumbing, heat, or wifi."
"It'll be just like bootcamp eh Barnes?" Steve nudges the avenger next to him.
"Yeah well except no nazis trailing us."
"We will create our own fun," Steve replies.
You shrug, "I'm down. Could be fun. And a good exercise."
"See! That's what i'm talking about. My favorite student ladies and gentlemen!" Tony points at you.
"Yes yes, we all know Y/n is your favorite," Thor grumbles.
"Because she's a team player," Tony continued.
"Come on guys? What's the worst that could happen?" Nat asks.
"Alright it's settle. You've got," Tony looks at his watch, "Three hours to pack. Meet me by the back gate at 5 don't be late. We have a two hour trek ahead of us."
You walk down the hall with your phone typing out a list. Then you slam into something. Someone! You cringe when your phone falls face down on the hard hallway floor.
"B-barnes," You stutter.
Barnes just stares at you with his piercing blue eyes.
"I-i'm sorry. I didn't see you there!"
"It's fine," He replies and picks up your phone, "Sorry."
"Oh it's fine," You smile. There was a slight crack in your screen but what was one crack compared to getting a whole two minutes of alone time with your crush? "Um, so group camping trip. Sounds like-Fun."
"Should be," He says and stuffs his hands in his pockets. His long hair is pulled back out of his eyes in a bun with the rest hanging down.
"Um, well, see you then? I guess?"
"See you then. Y/n?"
"Yep. Y/n, that's me. I'm her." You cringe at your awkwardness.
Barnes smiles quickly, "I don't think we've officially met. Bucky barnes," He shakes your hand.
"Y/n, well you know that."
"Nice to meet you y/n."
"Nice to meet you Barnes."
"Bucky."
"Bucky," You blush. "Uh so you like TFK too?"
Bucky's eyebrow raises, "Yes I do. Oh sorry!" He has a look of realization come over him. "I do have a habit of blasting my music too loud."
You shrug, "It's okay. I'm sure I do a few things that annoy you too."
"Actually you're a great neighbor. When I first joined up I lived with Steve. It wasn't awful but he snores like a tank and leaves his dirty clothes everywhere."
You laugh, "Really?"
Bucky chuckles, "Yeah well, Don't tell him I said that. He'll use that shield on me."
"Right. Your secret is safe with me."
"So Tony told me you're an assassin. I guess I had better be a better neighbor."
You had never heard this guy crack a joke. "I was. I don't work for the red room anymore. Nat got out and I a few years later."
Bucky rubbed the back of his neck with his hand, "Oh y/n, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to recall any hurt-"
