Your uncle looks over at you, "You look nervous."

"I am, very," You stop biting your nails, "It's not everyday you get interviewed by Tony Stark to become a potential candidate for a team of superheroes."

"Well you're a shoe-in. I don't see how Tony can turn you down," He replied as he pulled off the highway, "You've got what it takes. Just show him what you showed me."

"I don't think the avengers need another archer. They already have you."

Clint turns a corner, "You'd be surprised. We bow people are sometimes the most useful."

"I shoot hay bales in a field," You laugh, "I don't think i'm gonna be much use."

"Okay, you started shooting hay bales in my field. Now you can pick a crow out of the sky 30 up. You have the fastest reflexes I've seen in someone your age and you handle a blade like you're some type of jedi. I've seen how you act in field. That thing you do, the whole being able to catch an arrow without even looking in it's direction? I tested you on that for a reason. You're in-tune with things even beyond understanding. You've trained everyday since I suspected you were special. You have earned this y/n," He reaches over and squeezes your shoulder, "The world needs people like you and Tony is going to see that."

"I hope you're right," You rub your hands together, "I mean I did get pulled out of school and sacrificed my life too and I quote, "Develop your extraordinary capabilities"."

Clint chuckles, "That's what your parents told you?"

"Yep. My brother went to his first day of grade 5 telling everyone his sister was gonna be the next Blackwidow, Katniss style."

Clint pulled up to a tall gate. On the other side of the gate you could see the Avengers compound. The gate opened so your Uncle drove through and down a ramp under the compound. You waited until he had parked before saying, "I think i'm gonna be sick."

"Tony's not that bad. Just do what you do," Clint gets out and grabs your bow from the backseat, "He's stickler for punctuality though."

You get out of the car and grab your knife belt and quiver.

"Alright Owl. Let's go kick some Avenger butt," Your uncle grins. You smile at the name he has given you, "Let's do this."

You follow your Uncle up staircases and through hallways until you find yourself in a lounge area. The dark-haired man you recognize immediately as Tony Stark. The one beside him you knew as well. Steve Rogers. You feel your cheeks heat up when Steve looks over in your direction, "You must be Y/n."

You nod, "Yes. Uh, Hello."

"It's nice to meet you. Your Uncle has not stopped talking about you," He smiles. Holy cow he's even cuter in person! You blush deeper at your thoughts.

"Y/n here is my wife's sisters daughter. She's got the sharpest eyes, reflexes, and aim i've seen," Clint begins. "I want you to evaluate her Tony. I think she could be a great asset to us."

Tony looks you up and down, "We'll see what she's made of. Cap, set her up."

"On it," Steve replies and walks down the hall a ways, "Follow me."

Clint walks behind you as you follow steve down a hall. You try to take in the sights and sounds of the compound but let's be honest, the place is overwhelming. Steve escorts you into a room himself, "No instructions. Just give it what you got. We'll be watching from up there," He points to a glass window about three meters above you on the opposite wall. You can see Tony and Your Uncle watching you. Steve hands you your bow, "Goodluck Y/n. Between you and Me, I think this test is going to be too easy."
