Summary: john and Brady returns to salem five years later.

Marlena and john rebuild their relationship.

Chapter one

every man marlena even openned a piece of her heart to either ran or turned out to be less than what she was looking for.

there was one man, who didnt occupy any of her life anymore but still occupied a portion of her mind and heart.

As much as she tried and pleaded with herself to forget the man who didn't even give her a goodbye four years ago.

Marlena still thought about him, she still longed for him and as much as she hated herself for it, she was still in love with him.

She carried around all these excuses with her as to why the other side of her bed was empty, however the only one that was the truth was the fact that none of the men was John Black.

who she had fallen for the first time she had laid eyes on him.

John left salem with his son Brady, after his wife Isabella died from cancer.

Marlena was waking downtown when she heard someone said her name.

Marlena?.

Marlena stopped in her tracks and closed her eyes briefly.

There was no way that voice was the voice she thought it was. "

Marlena?.

she heard again.

Marlena turned body slowly around and she saw its was john Black and Brady with with him.

Brady looked at the woman and says to her.

"Hi, I'm Brady.

"Hi, Brady, I'm marlena.

Marlena said as she remembered when Brady was a baby.

John smiles at marlena who he hadn't seen in five years.

She was even more beautiful than he remembered.

John had missed marlena so much and It had been way to long and the only person he had to blame was himself.

John had the same blue eyes and muscular build he always had.

John did notice that marlena's ring finger was bare.

John could see the pain and betrayal in marlena's eyes

John never knew what he was going to say to marlena if he ever saw her again.

he tried numerous times to convince himself to go see her but each time he chickened out because he knew there weren't any words that could fix what he had broken between them.

John still has feelings for marlena, that why he left salem, he didn't want to to break up marlena's marriage with roman Brady.

john wrapped himself up in a new job that had kept him away.

John tried to tell marlena how
sorry he was and how much he had missed her.

Marlena, can we go somewhere to talk?.

John asked her.

Part of marlena wanted to run as far away from the man before her,  the other part wanted to hear his explanation, if he even had one.

She didn't have any interest in giving him a chance or forgiving him, but she knew she still needed closure.

Okay.

Marlena said to john.

We can walk to the park.

John said to marlena.
