Chapter ten.

Two weeks later.

Marlena's doctor had allowed her
to return to work. 

Marlena was enjoy a nice bath, while john and brady went to the grocery store.

John and brady enter their apartment.

John set the bag of groceries  and two bags of Chinese food in his hand on the counter.

Brady was holding a bouquet of flowers they had picked for marlena.

John heard the bathroom door opening.

Marlena was standing in the doorway with a towel wrapped head and one of john's t-shirts and pajama pants.

Marlena walked to the table and she sat down.

Brady handed her the bouquet of flowers.

Marlena smiled widely at him as she shook her head out of her towel and pulled him in for a hug,

Thank you, brady, i love them.

Marlena told him, john sat her plate before her.

I love you, Both of you, so much.

Marlena said Brady and john

And we love you too doc.

john said to her.

John and brady sat down at the table with marlena, They ate their dinner.

The remaining of the time before bedtime was spent with john and brady curled up on the couch watching a movie, while marlena clean up the kitchen.

After john put Brady to bad,
He want bed wirh marlena.

John is holding marlena in his arms, she has her head on his chest.

"I love you.

Marlena told him.

"I love you too.

John told her.

He kissed her on the lips.

They fallen asleep.

The next morning.

Marlena was awoken by a slight shake of her body, the sound of her name and the smell of coffee and pancakes.

When she opened her eyes, she was met with john, who was sitting next to her on her side of the bed, with a smile on his face.

Good morning.

John said he  reached for the cup
of coffee he had placed on the nightstand,

Marlena sat up to retrieve her coffee out of john's hand, he reached behind her to sit her pillow against the headboard.

So when she sat back, she had a cushion for her back.

John sat marlena's plate of pancakes down on her lap,

Thank you.

Marlena said to him.

She looked down at her plate of pancakes.

There was nothing spectacular about them, just a simple stack of pancakes with strawberries and syrup on top, the way she had always liked them.

Maelena puts her coffee on the nightstand and she sliced the pancakes and took a bite.

They are delicious.

Marlena told john.

Good.

John said to her.
