chapter nineteen

Chapter nineteen.

Isabella Black.

Born on much 20th, 1998 at 7:25 am.

At the hospital.

John walked into marlena's room.

Marlena was laying back against the pillow.

"Where's belle?.

Marlena asked her husband.

"She'll be right in, they just wanted to put an ID tag on her and get her cleaned up some more.

Belle is 6.4 lbs and 19 ½ inches long.

John said as he sat down in the chair next to marlena's bed.

Marlena took his hand in hers.

John  smiled and kissed her,

You were amazing.

John told his wife.

"She's really here.

Marlena said as her  eyes welled up with tears.

"Don't cry, Babe.

John said as he stroked marlena's cheek.

"I'm trying not to, I'm just so happy.

Marlena said as she wiped her eyes with her free hand

The nurse wheeled belle into the room.

Belle was whimpering and crying.

"Did you want to try to feed her?.

The nurse asked marlena.

Yes.

Marlena said as she sat up on the bed.

The nurse picked up belle and placed her in marlena's arms.

"Do you need some help?.

The nurse asked marlena.

"No, thank you.

Marlena told the nurse.

"Okay, Page me if you need anything.

The nurse said before she left the room.

Marlena helped belle get situated and she started to eat.

Marlena stroked belle's cheek as
she ate.

John leaned in and kissed belle on the top of the head.

Belle opened her eyes and looked at marlena.

She has your eyes.

Marlena told her husband.

  John leaned over her to see.

Belle's eyes darted towards him.

Do you see Daddy?.

Marlena asked her daughter.

"Hey, Baby girl.

John said to his daughter.

"She's perfect, Don't you think?.

Marlena asked her husband.

"Oh, yeah, She takes after her Mommy.

John said to his wife.

After belle done eating, john had gently taken belle from marlena

He had changed her first diaper, had swaddled her in her blanket to keep her warm.

John had snapped a bunch more photos and had fallen asleep with her in the crook of his arm.

Brady was the first child to hold their new sibling.

The young boy was in so much awe of his baby sister that he almost refused to pass her along.

"But I still want to hold her.

Brady said to his father.

I know, And once everyone introduces themselves, I'll bring her back to you, okay?.

John asked his son.

"Okay, dad.

Brady replied.

And john did Brought belle right back to a waiting Brady once all of the other children got a turn.

And as soon as marlena was overly tired, as soon as she was ready to take a nap and everyone left the room to let marlena sleep.

The next morning.

The doctor told them that they can go home.

John and marlena arrived at the house with belle.

All the kids were there when they walked in.

Everyone gushed over belle
Were just in love with as much
as their parents were.

by the time is was seven, everyone was calling it a night.

"You feeling okay, baby?.

John asked his wife as she leaned against their headboard and she feeding belle.

Mmm..

Marlena said as her eyes were glued on belle who currently sucking on her breast.

As marlena's eyes drew up to john's and she said to him.

I'm tried.

"Once belle is finished, I'll  put her in   her basement.

and you can get some sleep.

John told his wife.

Okay.

Marlena said to her husband.

After belle was done eating, john burps her and he lay her in  the basement.

Before  john left the room to check on brady, he kissed marlena on her forehead and tells her that he love her.
