A/N: if you get the title reference, congrats. if not then what the fuck where have u been

L's POV

I don't know what happened.

Something just took over.

And it wasn't my murder instinct. Oh boy, I sure wished it was.

Please, can this just stop already?!

No POV

L stood there for a moment, scanning the worker drones before him. "There's 6 of them...odd amount for drones this far away from their colony..."

Without another thought, he retracted his hands, replacing them with M11s. Hopefully I- we can make quick work of these guys.

He winked before twirling around, aimlessly firing round after round of ammunition, majority hitting their targets and piercing through the visors, others zooming into the distance.

L stopped, retracted his gun hands, and walked over to the nearest dead worker drone to slice off its head in one swift motion. He inspected it for a while before pouring the oil into his mouth and tossing the scrap aside.

"One, two, three...oh. I only killed four of them. Oh well." He quickly scanned the area, looking for any sign of footprints and whatnot.

There they were.

The two drones, thinking they were safe.

L snuck up behind them, replacing his right hand with a buzz-saw in the meantime.

"Heyyyy, guys. So sorry to ruin the mood." The saw whirred to life as the disassembly drone swung his arm, severing both heads of the worker drones. "Sorry again."

AK was making her way over to L. "So..."

"Sorry if you knew them. I felt like trying out the new gun-saw combo."

"Yeah...that's not the most of my concerns." She put a foot on one of the heads on the ground, its visor blinking a fatal error message.

"Oh. The bodies?"

"I could probably use these for scrap metal. But-" She thrusted out a hand towards one. "I'm not sure how I'll get it back home. I need a blowtorch to-"

"Hey...sorry to interrupt, but-" L pointed to AK's hand. "It looks like you have your answer."

"Huh? What do you..." The girl's voice trailed off when she followed L's gaze and saw a three-pointed symbol over her hand the same color as her eyes. She glanced at the corpse and sure enough, it was taking itself apart. "What the hell..."

"I-" L was at a loss for words. "That's...pretty cool." He managed.

"Yeah. Um." She closed her fist and the metal plates left from the drone fell to the ground. She went over and picked them up. "Okayyy..." AK turned to look back at L. "Sorry, but it's getting pretty late. I should probably head back. I can help you another day–" AK noticed L's sad expression and she sighed. "My sister's going to kill me if I'm not home." She eyed L's tail for a moment. "I'll come back soon, 'kay?"

Another one. "Yeah, alright. That's fine."

AK waved. "Bye."

AK's POV

I opened the door back to my house. "I'm home."

"Lily-! Where did you go wandering off to?"

"Amaryllis, it's not important-"

"It is." My sister crossed her arms. "I don't want you going anywhere near the murder drones anymore. Especially after what happened last week."

"What happened-" I cut myself off. "Oh. Right." My dad died last week. I almost forgot about that.

"Exactly. Go to your room and get some rest. I'm going to the parent-teacher conference tonight."

I froze. "The what?"

Amaryllis glanced at me. "You know. The thing where I ask your teachers how you're doing in school and such."

"...oh. Alright. That seems fair."

"I'm just about to head out. You go do your Lily things and whatnot."

"It's called gun manufacture, Amaryllis." I put my hands on my hips.

"Whatever it is." Amaryllis looked at me for a little bit. "Hey. You probably haven't heard this from anyone in a while." She ruffled my hair (I refuse to wear the standard helmet, so I either wear a hat or don't wear anything at all on my head.) "I love you so, so much, Lily. You mean the world to me. Got it, sis?"

I nodded. "Yep. Love you too." I waved and went into my room, closing the door behind me.

I pulled out the metal plates from my pocket. Smaller than I'd like them to be, but that's fine, I guess.

I wasn't even going to make a gun this time.

If I can just remember how big that little spot on his tail was...

I sure do hope my little clicker mechanism works.

L's POV

I sat on top of the van, playing around with a ribbon I had found on the ground.

I looked up for a moment and saw something green moving around in the snow.

I saw the green eyed disassembly drone look at me, smile, wave, and glitch away.

Green eyes...
