Vali and Issei struggled but they got into the elevator with their aches and pains. Ddraig and Albion were mocking them for overdoing it in a little sparring session. Neither of them were going to refute those facts because it was true. By the time the elevator got to the main floor, it was dark as they trudged out of the elevator. Issei noted that Latia and Natsume were no longer there as he didn't sense their presence. He did notice that Genbu had shown up and was likely in the room that Vali was staying in.

When he looked at Vali, his rival had the faintest of a smile and he knew that Vali was happy to share the bed with her. He knew where Irina was, in his room as he expected, since they shared it. He wouldn't be surprised if she started sharing his closet, while he and Vali were sparring.

Vali: Kitchen is over this way - wincing as he began to walk, both of their legs and hamstrings were sore.

Because of this, they began to limp towards the kitchen and then Vali grumbled.

Vali: If Bikou or Kuroka saw us, they'd think we took it up the ass.

Issei: Yeah, at least they're knocked out for now.

Vali: Damn right about that - not wanting to be harassed by his teammates.

Issei: Plus we got somebody waiting for us in our beds, unlike them.

Vali: Kuroka will be waiting in your bed soon, Hyoudou.

Issei: I... didn't think about that.

Vali: Just make sure not to distract her when I need her for missions, we still have Khaos Brigade bases out there - as he took a seat at the table.

Issei: Hopefully, you... ah - wincing as he uncurled his hands to grab the hand of the fridge and opened it - don't have another assassin after you.

Looking through, he grabbed the cheeseburger mac for Vali, he also grabbed what looked to be beef stew, assuming that this is what the others had for dinner. Still wincing as he moved his hands, he went to warm up the food one at a time.

Vali: I should be good, it's you that has to worry.

Issei: Yeah - as he thought about his girlfriend, who thankfully was resting peacefully after he had to let her go on her own.

Vali: What are you thinking about?

Issei: Irina, don't you think about your girlfriends?

Vali: I do, I also think about my mom and step siblings.

Issei: Step siblings?

Vali: Yeah, my mom, she got remarried and had two children.

Issei: That's nice.

Vali: Yeah...

Issei: But?

Vali: She doesn't remember me and I think it's for the best, my life is too dangerous, I wouldn't want her to get caught up in it, you know how it is.

Issei: Yeah, I lost it when your granddad took my parents, which sorry about that.

Vali: For what?

Issei: It should have been your fight, you had a vendetta against him, and I took that from you, I'm sorry.

Vali: Hmph, I was able to get a piece of him, and at least I know that I could beat him if you were able to.

Issei: Hey, what's that supposed to mean? - making Vali chuckle, which caused Issei to laugh as well.
