Chapter 5

A buzzing sound went off, waking up Issei. He looked at the time to see that it was 4:45 in the morning. He sat and stretched his tired muscles to wake them up as well.

Issei: Right on time - getting out of bed to prepare himself for his jog, quickly brushing his teeth and changing out of his sleepwear into some black shorts and a red muscle shirt.

He walked out of his room quietly and went to check on the girls, he saw that Ravel and Irina were still sleeping, but Rossweisse was not in her room, so he assumed that she was in the bathroom, he did not bother to check on the other girls to see if they came back home as he could already sense their presence. He checked for Vali's presence, but could not sense it, so he deduced that Vali left early or he masked his presence so as to not alert the other girls to know that he was there.

Issei made his way downstairs and was met with an interesting sight that he had to calm his urges down. As Rossweisse was stretching to reach her toes, thus her butt was facing him, she was wearing black leggings and a tight top that was colored blue. He then remembered the conversation that they had yesterday during breakfast.

Issei: 'That's right, she did say she would try to sync up with my running schedule, didn't think it would be so soon.'

Rossweisse had finished her stretching and then sensed Issei on the stairs, luckily for him, he didn't look like he had been staring at her for the past minute, but off into the distance towards her left.

Rossweisse: Good morning, Issei-kun - snapping him out of his thoughts.

Issei: Ah, morning, Ross-chan, um, is it okay if I call you that, you know, when we're not at school or when you start magic training, I realized that I called you it before without permission - rubbing the back of his head.

Rossweisse had a bit of blush appear on her face and took notice of Issei's maturity because he was asking for permission to call her something else, which she did like the nickname, so she accepted.

Rossweisse: It's fine with me, Issei-kun, just be wary of who's around before you call me that, otherwise there would be misunderstandings.

Issei: Will do, so I guess you're going for a jog - now seeing that her hair was tied up in a ponytail.

Rossweisse: Mhmm, I figured that I'd join you, since you said you go out around 5.

Issei: Cool, just let me stretch a bit and we can go - as he bent knee, bringing his foot to touch his butt and holding it there to stretch the quads and then stretched his hamstrings by reaching his toes similar to what Rossweisse was doing earlier.

Issei: Ok, I'm good to go - as two headed outside to begin their jog.

It was still dark outside, but it wasn't an issue for Rossweisse as she was a devil and could see in the dark. For Issei, it was muscle memory, plus the moon helped out a bit and he kept track of Rossweisse's smell and the sound of her feet, training his draconic senses to get a better feel of his surroundings. The two jogged to the park, the same park where it all started for Issei, they took a breather as Issei began to reminisce.

Rossweisse: What are you thinking about? - noticing Issei seemed lost in his thoughts.

Issei: This is where it all began for me, the supernatural, I'm sure you know about the story of Raynare. I always come back here, just to think of how far I've come since then. Sure, I was perverted, I mean I'm a hormonal teen, but I took it over the top, the war changed my outlook on life.

Rossweisse: I can see that, your grades have improved and your physical stature as well.

Issei: Thanks, at least some people can recognize change - snorting at the end in annoyance.
