You had just came back from a long day at work, you were absolutely exhausted and just wanted to sleep, but alas you can't.
You sighed in frustration as you kicked your shoes off and walked towards the couch and plopped yourself down, turning on the Tv.
You flickered through the different channels and just settled on the news. At first nothing interesting was happening so you were going to switch it until Your boyfriend, Pro hero Chargebolt, appeared on screen doing an interview with a fairly attractive blonde haired woman.
"So." The woman asked "Chargebolt, are you currently in a relationship with someone?" She asked Putting the microphone in his face.
Your ears perked up once you hear this and you turned up the volume and leaned forward.
Denki smiled and shook his head "Man I wish!" He said "Unfortunately nobody's dumb enough to fall for me." He smirked slightly at the camera and winked suggestively.
The screen cut back to the original news with the same blonde lady "So is Chargebolt actually single? Find out after the break."
You mentally facepalmed as the screen cut to commercials and you turned the volume down "Damnit Denki...." You mumbled "What happened to keeping it secret?" You shook your head.
A soft ringing was heard and you picked up your phone to see who was calling you "Speak of the Devil and he shall appear..." you muttered to yourself as you picked up the phone "What's up?" You asked
There was silence on the other end.
"Hello?" You said again
Silence.
"Denki I swear to effing god don't tell me you called me for nothing." You grumbled
"Crap sorry! Can you hear me now?" Said a high pitched voice you immediately recognized as Mina.
"Oh, Mina, it's you." You said "Why are you calling me? And from Denki's phone too." You said slightly irritated.
"Oh! I'm sorry girlie." She said "But I just wanted to meet up for coffee! You know that place by the mall?"
"Uhm yeah." You responded "But awnser my question, why do you have Denki's phone?"
"Oh yeah about that...... I uhm I was having coffee with him- Yeah! I was having Coffee with Kaminari and I uhm accidentally took his phone?" She stuttered out.
"You're a horrible lier." You said as you got off your couch and walked back to your door and pulled your shoes back on "I'll be there in 5." You said bluntly as you grabbed your keys and walked out the door.
"Great! See you there!" She said happily then hung up.
You sighed as you turned off your phone and shoved it in your pocket. You closed the door behind you and locked it. You turned back around and continued walking, you walked over to your motorcycle and pulled on your helmet and hopped on the cycle and drove off.
You parked your motorcycle and pulled off you helmet and clipped it onto the handle.
You walked over to the coffee shop entrance already suspicious because there were no other vehicles in the parking lot.
You paused at the door and sighed 'Nothing could go wrong.' You repeated in your mind as you opened the door to the coffee shop.
Your eyes widened in surprise at what you saw there was confetti and everyone from your friend group was there, they were all wearing (F/C) and Yellow shirts. There was a big banner above them that said 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?' And that wasn't even the most shocking part,Denki was kneeling in front of you with the silliest grin on his face holding a....
You'll never guess.
Never in a million years would you have thought that he would be this dumb.
He was holding a ring pop.
That's not even the worst part.... it was grape, this man was really proposing to you with a Grape flavored ring pop.
You looked down at him in complete shock and he smiled up at you "So? What do you say? Will you marry me?" He asked with a straight face, he seemed slightly nervous.
You looked down at him "Not only did you have the audacity to propose with a ring pop, you had the audacity to propose with a grape flavor ring pop." You said distastefuly while shaking your head "I'm fine with the ring pop, but really grape flavor?" You asked disappointed.
Denki frowned and everyone went silent.
"But grapes the best flavor...." He whined.
Your jaw dropped.
"Excuse me WHAT?!?" You gasped.
Denki chuckled "I'm kidding." He said as he stood up and pulled out a real ring, it was like a classic engagement ring with your birthstone on a sliver band.
Denki slid the ring on your finger, and before you could protest he said"I know you would say yes."
You frowned knowing he was right.
Then before you could say anything he pulled you into a kiss and everyone cheered.
