Olivia didn't know what to answer. So she was in danger. But where did the Wing Warriors live? On an island? She had no idea where they hid from normal people. Was it hazardous for them to show themselves here, in public, that they had wings? What would happen to them if they did?
"What happens to them if they show themselves here?"
Cindy was silent for a moment before she answered, "They were kidnapped and are going through painful experiments. You are at high risk of being kidnapped." Olivia was about to say something, but Cindy continued, "That's why tomorrow you and your friends will leave super early towards the deep woods. That is where the Wing Warriors live and it will be a day or two before you discover their hiding place, in a deep underground cave."
Olivia now looked on full of admiration. It was like a fantasy story. But why should James and Jessie come along? They didn't have wings and could pose a danger to the Wing Warriors, right? "Why do James and Jessie have to go along?"
"They are also in danger. I want you to protect each other. Snow should come along too. You have created a fast bond that I don't want you to break up."
Olivia said nothing for a while before she nodded. "I better pack up and sleep then."
Cindy smiled and laughed a little. "You shouldn't. I secretly packed stuff for you so you can sleep a little longer along with the others."
"Thanks, Cindy," Olivia replied with a small smile.
"I'll inform James and Jessie and tell them about Snow. Is that okay? Then you can start sleeping soundly.
Olivia nodded and Cindy wished her and Snow a good night's rest before she disappeared from their bedroom, a high probability going to Jessie and James to talk to them. Olivia closed the curtains and dressed in her pajamas before crawling into her bed and lying on her stomach. Snow installed herself next to Olivia on her bed and curled into a ball with her tail curled around her. "Do you think we'll be okay when we're gone?"
Olivia was silent for a moment before she said, "I hope so. And hopefully, the Wing Warriors are welcome to take me and you in to be able to protect us."
"I hope so, too. Sleep well."
"Sleep well, Snow."
